Opinion: Can you imagine how the East African wolves have changed their Coat?

June 30, 2021 — Few years ago, Egypt wanted to fight all the East African countries surrounding the source of White Nile. Today, they have become demons together to fight Ethiopia. What are the reasons that they want to dismantle the seat of African Union (A.U.)

Let me remind them, it is not only the weapons used but also whether you have a right to fight. How much do Egypt and those East African countries remember about the Six -Day-War. What happened despite Egypt fighting side-by-side with the entire Arab world? Shame on you all to think war is only an alternative and you can intimidate Ethiopia with a war they are planning.

Anybody who can remember what Ethiopians have gone through should appreciate the effort the Ethiopians are putting to prevent a repeat of the famine that killed hundreds of thousands of them. Why do you think it is wrong for Ethiopians to gather all the surface waters of the mountains for irrigation? Why do Egyptians think they should survive but not others?

My dear Ethiopian brothers and sisters, you are building your Dam with good intentions, and therefore the God of Sheba and the God of Israel will crush all the evils preparing to fight you. Do not stop filling your Dam and if they bomb it, it will be a silent weapon to wash them away in both Sudan and Egypt. Egypt should stop bullying. If God wanted the waters of the Niles to be only for the Egyptians, He could have created it in Egypt.

I am stunned to read that the government of South Sudan has joined Egypt to fight Ethiopia should there be a war. What is the government of South Sudan up to when they are barely striving to exist? Will this stop them from building a Dam or Dams in their own country because Egyptians told them so?

What is South Sudan using the Nile water for after all when they do not even have enough drinking water leave alone water for bathing or fishing? Do not be a fool. What if God changed the Nile water into blood as He did one time, will the Egyptians complain to Ethiopians or to all those countries along which the Nile flows?

Whom did the Egyptians ask when they built Aswan Dam, which claimed the ancestral land of poor Nubians? Why should they now think Ethiopia should get their permission?  God has not said anywhere that they are the custodians of the Niles. Therefore, they cannot assume a monopoly. Who doesn’t need water?
