The arrival of SPLA-IO Chief of staff has paved ways for Machar’s imminent return, however, the exact time and dates are yet to be communicated.

Machar, South Sudan’s former vice president, has been expected to arrive in the capital since April 18th, however, the two warring parties could not agree on the number of troops and size of weapons SPLM/SPLA-IO should have in Juba.
