SPLM-Ausstralia Condemns The Recent Killing Of Civilians In Upper Nile, Western Bahar El Ghazel And Asanza (Yambio), Western Equatoria, South Sudan.

March 01, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– On behalf of SPLM-IO Chapters and Coordination office in Australia, we would like to put forth our position regarding the recent provocative attacks on civilians who are belligerently tortured and murdered in cold blood around Malakal, Wau (western Bahr el Ghazel) and mass grave in Asanza Western Equatorial (Yambio) by Government armed forces under the leadership of President Kiir against the people of South Sudan and his subordinate.

We would like to congratulate the chairman and commander in chief of SPLM-IO comrade Dr Riek Machar for demonstrating commitment for peace as the advanced team of SPLM-IO in Juba are working towards the implementation of the compromise peace agreement. This is a demonstration of commitment to end the sufferings of the people of South Sudan.

We condemn the actions of President Kiir and his government, and call upon the international community including JEMC, IGAD, Troika and other peace partners to pressure Kiir to reverse his criminal and illegal acts against the people of South Sudan. We reject this illegal, barbaric and unconstitutional act, and urge the South Sudanese people to stand together to reject this provocative actions.

We the Coordination Office and Chapters in Australia would like to condemn in the strongest terms.

The accusations Aguer Rual made against Comrade Dr. Riek Machar to Trioka and IGAD plus JEMC and all other partners reflect your personal ambition and interest, luring you into all your actions as a grasp for supremacy. Aguer we believe in your ability advocating for peace but not to be an enemy of peace for the people of South Sudan.

We condemn the involvement of the army in politics, and tribal council of elders usurping the power vested in the parliament by the people. As comrade Dr Machar has said; we call upon the civil society, church organisations, the oppositions, and the masses of South Sudan to pressure Kiir’s Government to stop the violence, the killing of innocent civilians, women and children. We believe this act breaches the fundamental provision of the peace agreement and must be stopped by all costs.
