Oct 17, 2019(Nyamilepedia) — The Liech Community and I are deeply saddened by the untimely death of the Thirteenth years old Gatbel Gatdet Yakah who passed away on Tuesday evening at Mama Lusie Kibaki Hospital in Nairobi following short illness.
Again, this death has robbed us of a humble Boy whose future belong. Brother Gatbel Gatdet Yaka has always been a nice Boy Child. We have seen him as someone with potential to carry and fulfil his late father, Peter Gatdet Yaka’s revolutionary legacy in South Sudan.
Just like his Late Father, Gen. Peter Gatdet Yahak, was avid Orator. Even at his tender young years, Yuong Gatbel Gatdet could stand up to speak before the large crowd.
I fondly remember as one time translator of his at his father funeral prayer at Queen of Apostle Catholic Church, he spoke and received standing ovation. This sudden loss of Gatbel Gatdet is very hurting to me and the Liech community as a whole.
As I did verbally, I take this moment again to convey my condolences and to further wish his mother, sibling Friends and his extended family to have enough courage and comfort in the fact Gatbel Gatdet is with God.
The deceased shall live not only in our minds but with our heavenly father as well. We shall be there to accord any assistance that we can be able to do at this difficult time. Individually and as community we are here for you, emotionally, spiritually and physically.
