Oct 25, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– Compared to South African icon, Nelson Mandela, who spent 27 years in jail and many other years fighting apartheid before becoming a president of his country, Dr. Riek Machar Teny of South Sudan, a charismatic pillar who fought for Self Determination until 2011 and now fighting for Democracy is still the only hope for South Sudan’s prosperity. By any means, Dr. Riek will become a president and without doubts he will break many records and convert the current mess and suffering of South Sudanese into joy, peaceful and prosperous lifestyle for all South Sudanese including his current enemies. Machar will become the best president and here I explain.
Seen, proven and tested over the last eight years, Dr. Riek Machar is the only politician in South Sudan that is not corrupt, tribal, nepotist and dictatorial.

During his terms as the Vice President, Dr. Riek employed all nationals from all tribes of South Sudan. His long term office manager, Deng Deng, for example was a Dinka, his spokesman, James Gatdet, although a Nuer is from a distance sub-tribe of Eastern Jikany, his Deputy spokesman, Nyarji Jermlili Roman is from Equatoria and so on and so forth.
His SPLM/A-IO leadership was also fair and balanced in its political front and despite lack of participation in military front from other tribes, Dr. Riek also tried to balance the leadership of SPLA-IO by promoting and appointing those of Dr. Dhieu Mathok Ding, Dr. Oyet Nathaniel Pierino, among others, from low ranks to ranks of Lieutenant General and Major General. He also appointed those of Gen. Dau Atorjung, Gen. Martin Kenyi and others into deputy chiefs of staff of SPLA-IO.
In term of corruption, even Sentry Report proved that Dr. Riek did not steal public resources and invested them for his selfish gain. In fact, Dr. Riek is just renting houses like any regular folks on the streets compared to Salva Kiir and his corrupt officials and family members who have looted the country and bought expensive villas overseas.
In term of democracy, Dr. Riek has proven enough through South Sudan Legislative Assembly, SPLM Political Bureau and through SPLM/SPLA-IO leadership that he always sit down with the senior leadership and engage in a debate-like brainstorming convention to make popular decision. A good case example was in 2012-2013 where he dispatched a team of SPLM members to tour the country to gather grassroots information from SPLM Secretariat about the performance of SPLM as a party. The statistic shown that SPLM lost its vision and based on the statistic, Machar was prompted to act in the best interest of SPLM supporters at the grassroots and at national level. This is what pinched Salva Kiir where it hurts the most but instead of a dialogue, Kiir rushed to use military to kill or silence his opponents. Kiir is a dictator but Machar is a democrat. Although Kiir has been too nasty buying chemincal weapons, tanks and gunships to kill his opponents, Machar is only resisting with a minimal force.
Naath Mighty Power
Although Dr. Riek Machar does not put Nuer’s brevity at the forefront to win over his opponents, these people call Nuer are the best fighters and most brave in the whole of Africa. 1, 000 Dinka men could never rescue their leaders from well armed Nuer predators like the Nuer did recently in July 2016. This was a wonderful performance never witnessed even in the world wars and in the history of colonialism across Africa.
On July 7th, a platoon of 10 bodyguards of Machar was stopped and shot at at Gudele checkpoint. In retaliation some of the men fired back and left 5 of Kiir’s militias dead and others wounded. Only one of Machar’s bodyguards sustained a light injury.
On July 8th at Presidential Palace, Machar’s 50 bodyguards were rounded up by a battalion of more than 400 SPLA-IG. The 50 men fought for three hours. Because they were outnumbered, 44 of them were killed but while defending themselves and their leaders, they killed more than 250 bodyguards of Kiir. The six who remained alive won the long battle. This is how the battle has been fought for the last three years, every one Nuer soldier killed at the frontline equals 10 or more of mathianganyoor. More than 10 senior generals on Kiir’s side including Abraham Jongroor and other generals were killed at the frontline because they are far way inferior in warfares compared to Nuer soldiers.
Looking back to the history of SPLA, it was the Nuer dominated battalions that won many battles in 1980s. By 1991, SPLA has captured many parts of the South and in fact the war reached Juba town when Salva Kiir falsely announced that Dr. Riek and Dr. Lam were plotting a coup to overthrow Dr. John Garang de Mabior. Like they did in 2013, the Dinka soldiers started killing the Nuer soldiers and civilians in cold blood in Torit which forced Nuer soldiers to withdraw from Juba fighting. Since then, SPLA-Torit was badly defeated from Juba and other areas in Equatoria.
Also recorded in the history, Naath nation shown the world that during the colonial period, Nuer Nation resisted and fought British and Angolo-Egyptians using spears and shields. The Nuer won these battles and their land was never colonized.
It is truly sad that after independent of South Sudan the Jieng Council of Elders with their illiterates sons used all the national resources to buy powerful weapons and mercenaries to bring down Naath nation but as witnessed they failed badly. The lightly armed white army and SPLA Nuer soldiers fought many mercenaries from Sudan, Uganda and Egypt and surprisingly, they remained undefeated.
The so-called South Sudan president Salva Kiir and the Jieng Council of Elders could have succeeded because they have divided the Nuer and bought their wicked hearted politicians but still they failed miserably. Now that the Chollo, Murle, Fertit, Balanda and Equatorian tribes have joined the battle, it is likely that Salva Kiir government will be toppled. This is why Kiir is so scared now a days that he is trying to threaten Equatorian community or lie to Uganda to get more military support but if his weak leadership failed to defeat Nuer alone for three years, will he defeat all these brave tribes? NO.
Salutes and congratulations to Naath nation because the world has been against you but you remained stronger and determined for more than two and half years. Now the time has come to celebrate all the sorrows and sad news that were imposed on you by the so-called Salva Kiir who started killing our innocent citizens from 15 December 2013. Your tears will be wiped with happiness with as freedom of speech, freedom of movement, good governance, reform and visionary leadership will once again be restored under the charismatic leader H.E.Dr. Riek Machar Teny.
A Word to Outgoing Failed President, Salva Kiir.
Salva Kiir, it is a matter of time. Your days are numbered but the history will never forget and forgive you for the shame you have brought to South Sudan. Killing of innocent children, elderly, journalists and unarmed civilians is a complete cowardice never witnessed in the history. South Sudan will never forgive you. Shame on you Salva Kiir.
Kiir, you have been absorbed by Jiengism and forgotten that South Sudan is bigger than one tribe. Your Jieng Council of Elders have cursed your tribe and none among your future generation will ever lead this country again.
Because of your poor leadership, Naath nation will be remembered through out the world, and particularly in Africa, for killing your dictatorship in a nutshell. It is only in South Sudan that a well planed dictatorship and tribal dominant has been successfully resisted and forced to fail by lightly armed communities.
Lastly, my congratulations to all SPLM/A-IO top generals under the leadership of chairman, C-in-C and the Legitimate First Vice President, H.E Dr. Riek Machar Teny and his chief of general staff, 1st.
