April 14, 2021(Nyamilepedia) — Appointment of Competent personalities is not regrettable in the Republic of South Sudan, a case of Maj. Gen. Akol Ayii Madut, the Director General of South Sudan Custom Service, on the recent protest of the East African Drivers about the South Sudan Insecurity that claims their innocent lives on daily basis on several high ways of Nimule-Juba, Kaya-Yei among a few.
My first thank goes to the appointing Authority His Excellency the President of the Republic of South Sudan, the Chief Diplomat of the Country, the Commander in Chief of the South Sudan People’s Defend Forces (SSPDF) and head of Organized Forces, the prize of Peace in Africa and more especially IGAD’s Nations and States for having appointed the most known loyal, competent and respected personalities in the most vital country’s top positions.
As a result of your positive thinking, you wholeheartedly appointed Maj. Gen. Akol Ayii Madut naming him the National Director General of Custom Service, a vital top position of the country that is expected to be headed by a competent, loyal and respected civil servant which indeed have all been met by Gen. Akol Ayii Madut who holds an academic certificate of being a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) awarded to him as a result of his long dedication to studies. As a Loyal Gen. He (Dr.) has been serving the nation in different capacities that made his competency and loyalty be visible to every citizen of the country and hence led to the confidence building to appoint him to the current position he is holding as a National Director General of Custom Service in the Republic of South Sudan. Congratulations to you your Excellency the President Gen. Kiir Mayardit. May the living God protect you and give you abundance blessings.
As citizens of this nation who have love for each other and our country, we need to always appreciate the work done by an individual holding a top position publicly to encourage him or her to continue doing more expected of him by the citizens. I therefore, publicly acknowledged the service and the concern Dr. Gen. Akol Ayii Madut has in heart to service his government and the people diligently.
Your tactful mind, your emergency idea and your intelligence mission all deserve this appreciation. I wish as the year passes, your brain becomes sharper. Congratulation Dr. Gen.Akoldit for this achievement, but don’t celebrate it much as you have a long way to go. The saying says, when the going gets tough, the tough gets going.
It was a shocked news to South Sudanese who feed on both non food and food commodities from East Africa countries that the East African Drivers protested two weeks ago following the recent incidence on Nimule-Juba High way that left trucks being burned with commodities and drivers killed by the rebels in South Sudan-Equatoria region. This badly led to the refusal of the East African Drivers to enter to the insecure South Sudan unless the safety assurances are signed by the government and compensation done to the victims. The incidence that caused the shutdown of the Country’s entery points and led to the rise of prices in Juba City markets where every trader sells according to his/her own price and that led to the rise of the water tanks’ normal prices from SSP 500 to SSP 600 per 200 ltrs only without any reaction from the City council.
Maj. Gen. Dr. Akol Ayii Madut took the concern seriously and joined hands with his team of other known competent generals among them was Lt. Gen. Akol Koor Kuch the man with mind without fear, bold and confident and it can win over any battle; no matter how tough the situation is, he never step back from taking the challenge, the wiseman and security minded general of our time, Lt. Gen. Majak Akech Malok the South Sudan Inspector General of Police Service who is another competent person who has brought the language of unknown gunmen to almost zero level in the Capital City Juba. Your skill, which is rare that cannot be predicted and cannot be compared; you go one step ahead, with your talent and hard work today, but the mountain is high and your confidence can climb at the top with your courage. Congratulation Gen. Majakdit.
the Lt. Gen. J.J Okot who was the Chief of South Sudan People’s Defence Forces who is currently the former Army Chief and the current South Sudan Ambassador to Belgium and many other senior and junior officers that joined the concern group.
This led to the South Sudan delegation meeting the Ugandans and the East African Delegation including the drivers who raised the concerned of Insecurity in the Republic of South Sudan plus other people from Africa Region. As a result of choosing the competent people to the top positions of the country and whose diplomatic techniques are also competitive, they all walked to the boarder for negotiation and successfully was concluded as you could see Lt. Gen. Akol Ayii Madut unknowingly by his counter part, engaged him with diplomatic techniques and tactics until his counterpart laughed unknowingly. Congratulations to Dr. Akol Ayii Madut for the wonderful engagement and for having unquestionable techniques of diplomacy. You are good to me and to everyone whose this country is in his or her heart and above all to your appointing authority of none other than His Excellency the President Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit.
I am much more grateful that your PhD knowledge is doing great in positively impacting the lives of citizens with what exactly they need. Although other PhDs are more harmful to the citizens following the ups and downs the country has been going through in the hands of the PhDs, you successfully emerged today as the true learned Dr. Who has put down your knowledge in upgrading everyone’s live. You are among the few generals who have put down their military techniques for the citizens and the country but not against the citizens and the country. Congratulations for having won the satisfaction needed from your service. You are among the few whose personalities have been shared with citizens.
My purpose of writing today is to congratulate you for having made a breakthrough at the boarders that allowed the official re-opening the boarders once again. Closing the boarders is one of the national disasters that can make citizens die of many things. Therefore, you may see it small to you but very big to the citizens of the country. I would still say South Sudan is still alive if His Excellency the President still appoints such competence young generals based on the merit and technical know how but not know who. May God of Heaven and Earth bless you and bless H.E Salva Kiirdit.
