Jul 12, 2021 — This is letter of apology from a very concerned citizen of South Sudan Artist Lasron Angok Garang regarding open letter to which i addressed to you two months ago that i posted on my official page. In explicit manner applied in that open letter, I vividly comprehended that my action to post that open Letter with emotions in social media and pattern of communication was inappropriate, attention diverting and indirectly applied unnecessary pressure and misinterpretation to my intentions as very concerned citizen of south Sudan and truly SPLM member.

Though my true intention was to help in urgency regarding personal observation I encountered while in Aweil and Warrap regarding well-being of our forces and some disrespectful live videos’ women against Press Secretary Ateny Wek, where they unexpectedly tailors your name.

As a loving citizen with a constant support to our current regime, I was provoked and goaded to write like that though it was inappropriate, rough, and irresponsible on my end.

I personally realized that I allowed myself to be carried away and over-whelmed with emotions to articulate and posted things that I supposedly wrote and present them to SPLM house or your office with respect but I elucidated them with pressure in my article.

In this regard, I officially apologize for my actions and will ensure this will never happen again. All my views, emotions and reactions related to keeping the integrity of our government and country improvements, I will be officially and confidentially channeling to a proper channels or system that allows partriotic citizen to ask.

I am in full support to the current government of South Sudan and SPLM in particular and will continue to provide my support within my limitations and with utmost ethical standards.

I respectfully and humbly apologize to you as my beloved father of the Nation and other government organs if my actions resulted to confusion or inconvenience on everyone’s end. Please forgive me as your son. I greatly convinced myself to be vigilant and provide all my inputs to the betterment of our country and SPLM party in the proper and ethical channels that do not outfit decline in personal judgment that I did. Am honestly very sorry. Kindly forgive me.

Yours Faithfully,
