Vice President Nyandeang de Mabior Thanks President Kiir for Visiting Bor

Juba, South Sudan,

April 28, 2021(Nyamilepedia) — South Sudan Vice President for Youth and Gender Cluster, Her Excellency Rebecca Nyandeng Garang de Mabior, visited president Salva Kiir today in his office to congratulate him for his recent visit to Bor town, Jonglei State.

According to a statement from the office of the president, VP Rebecca briefed president Kiir on the activities of her VP Cluster and commended the visit to Bor town.

“Wednesday 28th April 2021- His Excellency President Salva Kiir met in his Office, with the Vice President for Youth and Gender Cluster Her Excellency Rebecca Nyandeng Garang De Mabior and briefed him on the activities of her Cluster.” Read part of the statement.

“In her remarks to the media after the meeting, H.E. Rebecca Nyandeng Garang commended H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit for his recent visit to Bor- Jonglei State to see the flood affected population” The statement added.

H.E. Rebecca Nyandeng said, the visit of the President to Bor has motivated and lifted the moral of the people of Jonglei State.

The Vice President, who comes from Twice East, was away on health related visit to Nairobi, Kenya when president Kiir visited Bor.

The meeting was also attended by the the Minister of Presidential Affairs Hon. Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin.
