This comes after Governor Aleu and other three Parliamentarians accompanying him paid a courtesy call to President Salva Kiir in his office and briefed him about the general situation in Warrap State including outcomes and recommendations of the recent peace dissemination he carried out across the state to pacify the environment.

In a statement seen by Nyamilepedia, Mr. Aleu said at least the situation was not like before in Warrap, adding that the authority in the State will work hard to tackle the remaining challenges.

“The security situation in Warrap State is relatively calm and normal with only minor criminal cases which are being addressed by the State authority,” the Governor said.

He further explained that President Kiir promised him to support his government with infrastructure, schools, hospitals, roads, and other necessities they are in need of in the state.

According to Presidential Press Unit, the meeting was also attended by Dr. Barnaba Marial Benjamin, Minister of Presidential Affairs.

Aleu Ayieny Aleu during his swearing-in promised President Kiir and the people of Warrap State, in particular, to restore law and order in the state.
