Oct28, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — South Sudan’s anti-government forces from the two main regions of the country have merged their forces under SPLM/SPLA-IO leadership.

Signed this morning in a press conference in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, the forces of Revolutionary Movement for National Salvation (REMNASA), an Equatorian popularized rebel group, have joined the main rebel faction, SPLM/SPLA-IO.

According to the document signed by the negotiating chairmen, Hon. Henry Odwar for SPLM/SPLA-IO and Martin James Cleto for REMNASA, the two parties identified and agreed on the need to restore the country citing the suffering of the people of South Sudan, collapsing economy, genocides and massacres of civilians by Salva Kiir regime, land grabbing, rampant corruption, tribalism, nepotism and leadership failure in the country.

“The two parties are cognizant of the current dire situation in South Sudan today: untold human suffering and near collapse of economy” as stated in the declaration document.

“South Sudan is enthralled by serious problems, land grabbing, rampant corruption, tribalism and nepotism, spiralling inflation and failure of leadership”. the declaration continued.

The young revolution movement, which was lunched by a colonel, who defected the Juba regime with handful of soldiers in January this year, was officially launched on January 28, 2015.

Col. Losuba Lodoru Won’go, the founder of REMNESA, is a former military official who served in the ministry of defense in Juba before his defection.

For the past 9 months of its operation, REMNASA launched a few random ambushes against the government forces in various parts of Equatoria region; however, the young rebel group never established a known headquarter in the country or capture a major town.

Since January members of REMNESA such as Col. John Sunday and Capt. Modi Joseph Robert Kenyi, who joined REMNASA in February, 2015 called for alliances and/or merges with other defectors including Brig. Gen. Lul Ruai Koang who defected from SPLA/SPLM-IO and re-joined Juba regime.

Despite many commonalities with SPLM/A-IO, which include fighting the Salva Kiir’s government, REMNASA refused to recognized the recently signed peace agreement on the grounds that the divided SPLM takes 93% of the power sharing.

“The Revolutionary Movement for National Salvation (REMNASA) would like to state to his members and supporters that, the so called “Compromised Peace Agreement” signed by the trio SPLM families (SPLM-IG, SPLM-IO and SPLM-FD), imposed by IGAD-Plus does not represent the popular interests of the people of South Sudan and will not be recognized by REMNASA.” said the REMNASA spokesman, John Sunday.

In spite of minor differences between the two parties, the chairman of REMNASA Col. Losuba, who spoke at the time of release of this article, strongly emphasizes on the importance of merging the two forces under the SPLM/SPLA-IO leadership.

A very good move REMNASA!!!, we Equatorians support you 100%. Equatoria region has never seen such misery, devastation and disorder throughout its entire history. What Mr.Kiir and his council of evil plus their herders have done is beyond any human conscience. But this doesn’t really surprise us b’cos people who follow animals (cows) definitely lack leadership.

Peace or no peace, we Equatorians MUST take security to our own hands and protect our people. We MUST unite our forces and capacities from Western Equatoria, Central Equatoria and Eastern Equatoria and fight for our territories. We MUST restore ORDER in Equatoria by all means necessary!!!. Equatorians in the government should defect and support the opposition. Enough is enough!!!

Dear Brothers and Sisters in South Sudan,

The move taken by the forces fighting for a better South Sudan s appreciated before it was forces of Johnson Olony and now the Equestrians (REMNASA), I have been saying that all people of South Sudan should join hands in the struggle for peace, harmony, rule of law, true democracy, unity, justice. The current regime has failed to ensure all the things I have mentioned, therefore what should unite us is change of regime. The different (SPLM -IO, Agwelek, REMNASA) groups might have other goals for example Agwelek has issues with their land, REMNASA mostly on Equatoria region and so on and so forth. However, we must understand the points that with the current regime things will not improve. When I’m talking about a regime this doesn’t necessarily mean a tribe, we are not fighting a tribe; we should fight for South Sudan that will exist peacefully with its diversity. So please unit for the regime change and then you should lead by example be careful not to fall in the same mistakes of the current regime. God bless South Sudan.

This is a very great and important move. We are able to corner this jce and its cows to leave our states as soon as possible. I believe colonel Losuba will never let us down. Things are going to be different this time and we will take back any land grabbed by the jenge.
In where I am, we are working very hard to see these changes come. Let us not think say the peace has come and sit back and watch.
Brothers and sisters, this is our time to raise our voice as SONS and DAUGHTERS of GREATER EQUATORIA about how we will make changes in our States. When peace came in 2005, the gorvernment cornered all the money for development to the jenge states, but see what happened, the same government of jenge destroyed everything in Bor, Malakal and Bentiu. I believe this is because God is not happy with their evil deeds.
Kiir goes to church every Sunday and yet he ordered his jenge army to kill us in WONDURUBA and burn down our poor village.
We want changes and this cannot come by itself, we must work for it.

Dingit na Tuggö,

If a stranger walks inside your house and defecates in front of you and your family, do you simply sit back and watch? No, you pick an arrow and shoot him in the heart or take a club and crack his skull. Brother, dont leave Col. Lasuba to do it alone, come and join him now. Because, the enemy is virulent as a “HIV-AIDS” Virus and has to be wiped out and you have to protect yourself. Dont get close to him, get rid of him

REMNASA joined SPLMIO as away to earn money since its leaders have no other sources of finances.

Oil revenue is what is all this conflict about. The money in the national treasury goes to pockets of government and oppoitions without ministerial responsibilities. No money for development.

Absolute gluttony.

South Sudan’s government needs a complete dismantling and profound maintenance. The Dinka regime must be crashed and obliterated and those who promoted these whole mess in the country need to be conveyed into oblivion.

Dinkas alone did not liberate South Sudan, this is a big lie and weak propaganda.People who keep saying these undermine the efforts of fellow countrymen and international governments. They have infact brought shame on themselves and the whole country. We now know what they’re capable of, theft, looting, murder, disorientation and poor leadership, all these are enshrined in their DNAs.

Liberation movements in South Sudan did not start in ’83 with Mr.Garang, but long before..,go read the books.

For a genuine PEACE to come to South Sudan we need a leader with vision and wisdom. A leader who value the diversity of the country and vow to protect the integrity and territorial legitimacy of every tribe. Equatorians, Nuer, Shilluks, etc (all tribes) must shape and nurture their territories and cultures respectively.

No tribe is above any other tribe, and no president should misuse our name “People of South Sudan” for his own tribal policies. This is wreckless, cheap and disgusting.
