August 6th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – A gunman has stormed a Juba University hostel on Monday in the South Sudanese capital wounding one female student, students have said.
Mary Agau who is a fourth-year student at the university’s College of Economic and Social Studies was shot in the stomach and in her leg according to one student.
“A man with an AK-47 entered the hostel of the university of Juba for girls and shot one lady in the stomach and also in her leg. She is now in a critical condition,” Simon Bol, a member of Juba university student union told Nyamilepedia from Juba.
No statement has been officially issued neither by the management of the university or by the police and authorities have not apprehended anyone for the crime.
