May 05, 2014(Nyamilepedia) — I would like to inform the world, individuals who have not understood what caused the current mess in the Republic of South Sudan. To elaborate on the reason why I have suggested Mayardit should step down in peace or go home. He (Mayardit) has been fighting to lead the South Sudanese people and he does not deserve it due to his dictatorial tendencies, corruption, Dinkanisation and etcetera.

In summary, on the 6th of December 2013, senior Members of the Sudan People Liberation Movement (SPLM) organized rally that provoked the interest of President Kiir and his loyalists which most of them are opportunists who lack influence from their constituencies across the ten states.

More so, after the meeting on the 6th, the group that consists of Dr Machar, Mama Rebecca Nyadeng ,Taban Deng Gai, Alfred Ladu Gore, Majak De Agoot, Oyei Deng Ajack, Gier Chuong Aluong, Ezekiel Lul, Pagan Amum, Deng Alor, Kosti, Diplomat Iteng, Engineer Chol Toang and many others concluded to organize a big rally on 14th of December 2013 in Juba that, most of the people of South Sudan were aware about the agenda behind the scene.

Well, after President realized that, he might loss the position of SPLM Chairmanship, he called for emergency meeting which took place on Friday 13th, 14th December 2013 where, he the President use intimidating words that provoked his political opponents and subsequently lead to the ordering of Republican Guards General to disarms Dr Machar body guards within Tiger and there, after lead to the eruption and evolution of the Rebellion that is mainly in the three States of South Sudan and have killed thousands and thousands of people. And within 16th, 17th and 18th of December 2013, Nuer intellectuals, Children, women were killed in their homes, hotels with agenda which was not known to the people of South Sudan but rather was known to the Dinka Community of Awiel and Warrap at that particular period of time.

Different analysts and commentators have predicted the current mess going on under the dictatorial regime that violated human rights, democratization processes and rule of law. Other writers, Journalists have viewed the current issue as the fight between literate and illiterate, democrat and dictatorship, some came out that, it is the fight between tribe and tribe in South Sudan which is not the case according to my own observation and curative thinking as an individual.

I think it is all about advocacy on the democratization processes that have taken the newest nation to square one as I speak. Many places have been destroyed, people have been killed in mass graves and other persecuted like Jesus Christ in some parts of South Sudan. Massacred have been carried out in Juba last year 2013 where 17,000 plus Nuer men and women were killed due to the political ambition of Dr Machar to lead the Republic of South Sudan which is not absolute approach enough because Dr Machar interest has got nothing to do with tribe or clan. Generals who ordered the killings of Nuer civilians in Juba thoughts, Nuer society might be reduce in one way or the other, forgetting that innocent civilians have got nothing to do with Dr Machar vision to become the President of South Sudan or not.

Why President Kiir should go home in peace?

First and foremost, I would like to ask a simple question, is Kiir a legitimate President in South Sudan?

Well, for those who do not know word “legitimacy” or “law” might be confused in one way or the other but for those who knows rule of law and democracy, they will agree with me in one way or the other. Legitimacy refers to lawfulness by virtue of being authorized or in accordance with law. While Law refers to the system of rules that a particular country or community recognizes as regulating the actions of its members and may enforce by the imposition of penalties.

Everyone is aware that South Sudan was ruled and still being ruled base on village way of handling people, not intellectual way of leading the nation. Public’s offices and resources have been misused in bad ways that even God almighty is not happy with leaders of South Sudan. Resources of the new Country have been use to buy foreign troops to kill the inhabitants of the Republic of South Sudan. Too much money has been use to buys and incites the violence in Juba and good portion of the money have been use for luxuries and using evils spirit to destroy South Sudan as the nation. Why a Nation?

More interestingly, President Kiir was elected using Republic of Sudan electoral law and regulations, procedures not the Republic of South Sudan electoral laws. Who can deny the facts that in 2010, Southern Sudanese by then use Sudan Electoral laws to organize the elections that were manipulated in one way or the other across the ten states of South Sudan?

After the elections end in 2010, some guys emerged and lead the serious rebellion in Greater Uppernile region, where late George Athur, David Yau Yau lead the rebellion in Jonglei which is still yet in existence up to now and the Late Gatluak Gai who also engaged people of western Uppernile before he was eliminated in a very unacceptable way by Comrade Taban Deng Gai in 2012.

Base on my intelligentsia as analyst, after South Sudan gained the independence as new Nation on the 9th of July 2011, I thought there was suppose to be elections afterward ,but due to my surprised up to date, only dictatorship , corruption and tribalism manipulates what should have been the good procedure of the people of a South Sudan.

Does he (Kiir) deserve to be the President of South Sudan, when he is in the power illegally?

Main issues that are unacceptable and can lead to President Kiir going home.

If you can view and contextualize the government of Mayardit, you will find that, there are four main things he (Mayardit) messes up with;

First of all, there is no democracy within the party of the Sudan People Liberation Movement/Army (SPLA/A), only dictatorship is going on at the movement and subsequently lead to the serious rebellion that have paralyzed the government of South Sudan due to the fact that, most of the soldiers defected to the Rebellion headed by Dr Machar in the three states of the Republic of South Sudan Unity, Jonglei and Uppernile States.

President Kiir have taken the party as a family organization which later was disputed by the Sudan People Liberation Movement (SPLM) insiders and eventually they defeated Kiir and his groups which the current SPLM in opposition called “opportunists” who do not care about the mission and vision of the party rather care for their stomachs only and their families not the interest of South Sudanese people.

Secondly, corruption have paralyzed the government of South Sudan that is why, the government is standing with a cripple legs as i speaks. Money of the nation has been use for dirty politics that are beyond the description, only God almighty knows how Kiir and his corrupt officials use the money. The question, is will the blood money not going to call the people who took away billions of dollars to foreign Countries? Social services like roads, hospitals and schools were not built for the last eight years up to date under the Presidency of Mayardit.

How can you stick in power when you are just a “wheelbarrow” who does not have magnitude and power to move alone? Clicks of people like Telar Ring Deng who claimed to have been a graduate of Law from unknown University worldwide and Makuei Lueth who graduate with Law Degree and have not understood the Course very well are the one pushing President Kiir in to the hole of darkness. For those who might not understand the word, corruption refers to Improper and usually unlawful conduct intended to secure a benefit for oneself or another. Its forms include bribery, extortion, and the misuse of inside information like what comrade Makuei Lueth is doing in South Sudan in term of giving false information to the audiences. It exists where there is community indifference or a lack of enforcement policies like what is in Juba right now.

Third is tribalism, Tribalism have been practiced by money looters in a bad way in Juba, tribalism have been the only mission and vision in South Sudan Leadership, tribalism , hatred , selfishness, genocide are the ones that Mayardit government is trying to accomplish at this particular period of time.

Fourthly, Illiteracy, most of the government offices are run by illiterate, people who are not informed mentally. Government institutions are run by semi-illiterate and villages. Where on Earth will you find, illiterate is in the office? What a nation? Most of the Ministers and Directors general only employed their wives and concubines in public offices, worse of it is that, the people they give jobs are people from villages and semi-illiterate who do not even know how to read and write very well.

Realistically, who can support a government lead by tyrants?

And the firth complex issue is bringing one community to lead the entire Republic of South Sudan.

More interestingly , now Kiir Mayardit have reach to the stage which have annoyed the people of South Sudan by forming the government in tribal, village way. For those who do not know the structure of Mayardit leadership, look at the set up of how he (Mayardit) set up some of his government positions in tribal way.

  • Kiir Mayardit is the President of the Republic of South Sudan a Dinka from Warrap
  • Paul Malong Awan is the Chief of General Staff of the Sudan People Liberation Army (SPLA) a Dinka from Aweil.
  • Malak Ayuen is the Director for Information and Public Relations in (SPLA) a Dinka from Bor
  • Philip Aguer is the Spokesperson of the SPLA a Dinka from Bor
  • Ateny wek Ateny is the Spokesperson of the President of South Sudan a Dinka from Awiel
  • Makuei Lueth is the Minister of Information and Broadcasting in the Republic of South Sudan a Dinka from Bor more over uncivilized.
  • ALeu Anyieny is the Minister of Interior in South Sudan a Dinka from Warrap
  • Kuol Manyang Juuk is the Minister of Defense in South Sudan a Dinka from Bor
  • Akol Khor , Director for National Security a Dinka as well
  • Madut Parek is the Director for Passport and Immigration a Dinka from Warrap
  • Chan Reec Madut is the chief Justice of South Sudan Judiciary a Dinka from Warrap
  • Cornelius Koryom is the Governor Central Bank of South Sudan a Dinka from warrap.
  • Mr Awan …. The Minister in the office of the President a Dinka from Lakes state
  • And the only opportunist South Sudanese (Nuer and a Dinka man) known by the name Marial Benjamin who was denied leadership in Rumbek some time back and eventually confused the people of Wuror County and was elected as the Area Member of Parliament is the Minister of Foreign Affairs in South Sudan.

Looking at those key positions in the government of South Sudan, all of them are Dinka. The question might come, is South Sudan for one tribe or for all? Well, many people might not answer this question very well. What I know is that, thousands and thousands of South Sudanese across the ten states of the Republic of South Sudan have lost many during the liberation struggle therefore, they deserve equal share and representations in the government of Juba as well.

If you can try to move globally, will you find a government run by one tribal? I don’t think it is logically and realistic to be practiced in the Country like South Sudan, which consists of sixty four tribes (64) and many more.

Except Countries that are monolithic nations which are formed by a one tribe like Somalia can have a cabinet that consist of the same family.

Key recommendations

President Kiir Mayardit should step down freely for the sake of peace to prevail in the Republic of South Sudan; most of the Sudan People Liberation Army (SPLA) have defected and therefore, no need to stick in to power when people are dying in thousands at night, day times in Unity, Jonglei and Upper Nile respectively. People of Greater Upper Nile region should move hand in hand to eliminate dictatorship, corruption and nepotism in South Sudan that is by uniting together all the intellectuals and leaders of the region to identify the current mess course by Kiir loyalists to reduced the population of the people of Upper Nile region.

International communities should know that, South Sudan government is a tribal, village government that is not for all South Sudanese; therefore there is no need to funds and recognize it because it is the family government full of corruption, tribalism and dictatorship which has paralyzed the nation.

Conclusively; am hearing rumors speculating that President Kiir is trying to remove the Military Caretaker Governor of Lakes State who is illiterate to the Army and the General of the Republican Guards in Juba will be transfer to be the Caretaker Governor of lakes state. Now in your inner psychology as the person, what can you evaluate, perceive and memorize about that agenda?

Is President Kiir really thinking of the future of his children after he is put aside from the leadership?

Yes, it is emphatically true President Kiir must step down since he has proved himself unworthy of leadership due to the extreme abuses of his corrupt regime. It is my hope and prayer, though, that the people of South Sudan will unite and no longer fuel tensions between Dinka and Nuer. Let future leaders be selected based on character and ability, not ethnicity. With God’s help, build a righteous democratic society for all.

Though your writing was very long and had to figure out exactly what you want to tell us , i guest you admitted that though this crisis is political in nature , the lack capability and nationalism among the people of the South Sudan has allow the Political crisis to shift to tribal crisis . The people who are paying this dear prices today from both sides of the conflict are very innocents and they don’t deserve to perish like flies in their own country . Both what so call government and rebel have no clear programme for this country because killing innocents and helpless people clearly stated that you have no programm for this country as they are the same people you fight to defense and they are the same people you should fight to rule . To me the hope for better south Sudan in in the dust bin , however regional and international powers should try to restore future and hope to the survivors of this senseless war and start to develop new leadership which has love for this country and it is people . This country will never be call country without nuer or dinka . No matter how much you kill it will not and never happen that you clean the whole tribe in this country. What is vital is to accept our weakness as people and embrace our diversities as our strength and say enough is enough to those innocents lives who perish in this senseless conflict. I ask all south Sudanese who loss their dear one to take courage and forgive the killers and let their blood rest on those bad leaders . Let start to love this country and eradicate those leaders who incite tribalism and look for better one to lead this nation in the coming terrible phase where wisdom is required to call this country a nation
