August 1, 2014(Nyamilepedia) — The South Sudan president, Salva Kiir Mayardit,  while speaking to the gathering marking the eighth anniversary of the martyrs’ day in Juba said he will never accept the opposition leader Dr. Riek Machar to come and have any administrative post in Juba.

In his speech delivered in Arabic at Garang Mausoleum in Juba on Wednesday, Kiir said “unless Riek wants to be the Governor of Unity state, we will not accept them in any post”.

The president vows that the situation in South Sudan would be like the one in Syria, Libya, Central Africa and Iraq unless he remain at the top job. This is not the first time. The president has declared a “red line” for the opposition and also told the mediators in Addis Ababa that he “Must Always remain the leader of that country”

The remark came after a decree read on the National Television in which the president appoints the rebel leader of the marginalized Murle tribe as the governor, preferably referred as administrator, of the newly created state known as Greater Pibor Administration Area, the GPAA.

Unlike the cobra leader, the chairman of SPLM/SPLA, Dr. Machar, has proposed 21 states and federal system to solve the current conflict. But these suggestions are not in the interest of Salva Kiir’s regime.

The president in a promise he made on the same occasion on Wednesday explained that it is better to destroy the country than working with his former vice president, whom he tried to eliminate in December, 2013.

Although the president does not have powerful guns like the late Gadhafi and Sadam Hussein the president added that “the international community are not feeling good because of our resources”, and continued that “Sadam Hussen had died and the Iraq is still burning” as the president can recall.

The sparsely populated function, attended by mostly the cabinets, sang the newly composed rhetoric that “we shall never give up, NEVER, NEVER, NEVER, …”  The song was subsequently repeated each time the president delivers the harsh words.

The celebration of the matrys’ day was first celebrated in July 2005 after the untimely death of the SPLM/A founder Dr. John Garang De Mabior who died in a helicopter crush and it is commemorated every year.

In other speculated report, according to the presidential circle, the president has left the country on Thursday, 31st July, 2014, however, no one confirms where the president headed to, and neither the reason for his prompt disappearance. Some wild guesses points to Kampala as his destination.

War broke out last December in Juba when the presidential guard units’ commander allegedly ordered the Dinka unit to disarm their Nuer colleagues, which sparked the violence, killing hundreds of thousands and leaving more than one million homeless.

Most of these populations seek shelter at the United Nation camps across the country or seeking refugee status in the neighboring countries.

The president will travel to USA, Washington, DC to attend an African-American summit that invites 45 African presidents, with exception of notorious Gabriel Robert Mugabe, the Zimbabwean president and a few others.

South Sudanese are waiting in Washington to protest the invitation. Many peaceful demonstrations have been conducted in Western countries with slogans such as “Kiir Must Go”, among others.
