August 29, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —- Fellow South Sudanese, as we sleepwalk into this fallacy of implementation of peace agreement which does not exist, the sad reality on the ground is that, the Shilluk and Nuer tribes are losing their lands.

MALAKAL

Malakal town has been annexed to the illegal state of East Nile and, Padang Dinka have claimed ownership of the town. To add salt into the injury, the Dinka government have expelled all the Civil servants from other tribes and, replaced them with Padang Dinka. The Dinka president and the Jieng council have refused to meet Shilluk peace activists to discuss the matter. Shilluk and Nuer are slowly being displaced from Malakal town and surrounding areas through harassment and intimidation on a daily basis.

BENTIU

Bentiu, the capital of Unity State where most of the oil fields are located, is now under the complete control of the Dinka. Out of 9 counties in the state, 2 counties namely Pariang and Abiemnhom have already been annexed to Dinka by Salvar Kiir. Now Bentiu town is being populated by Dinka and, there is a big military presence of SPLA recruited from the Dinka tribe. Not only that the government has made it a safe haven for Justice and Equality Movement (JEM) as a backup in case of uprising by Nuer. The Dinka Government now feel confident to start extracting the oil and, use the revenue from it to destroy the very people who actually own the land.

This notion of Nuer being used to kill fellow Nuer is just sickening. Where are the so called Bul Nuer intellectuals? What is it that they cannot see happening? It really beggars belief.

It is just a matter of time when Governor Joseph Monytuel will become insignificant to the regime and, they will deal with him accordingly. The appointment of Taban Deng Gai as first vice president is undermine the governor and cause more division and fighting among the Nuer tribe. As a reminder to the governor, in the recent fighting which took place in Juba, his house in Munuki residential area was attacked by the government forces.

The Dinka government and Jieng council, do not honour any agreement they sign with any tribe or faction. The latest incident with Dr. Riek Machar is a clear proof of that. Kiir has decided to cling to power at all costs just like the former Ivorian president Laurent Gbagbo. The language Salvar Kiir will understand is war and, that is the only way to get him out office once and for all.
