March 27, 2021(Nyamilepedia) — I would like to congratulate you for being a magnificent mother of this beautiful nation and I thank God for giving us this splendid gift . You have stood with us, both day and night, without denying your citizens and that is a true love from a mother to her children. You never ran away when things fall out of hand. You are still the distinctive and charismatic mother of South Sudan of which we the citizens of this country will never haul our support for. We applaud for what you do and who you are. It’s our hope and prayer that a brilliant First Lady like you shall never walk alone forever and ever. Now, we, the South Sudanese, are lobbing to retain you as the mother of nation whether you want to acknowledge it or not. You’re supported, applauded and loved in the whole of South Sudan.

Dearest Mama,

I want to bring to your attention the arrest of our South Sudanese legend, musician and Afro-beat artist, Larson Angok Garang Wieu. I don’t recall whether you have heard of his arrest or not. Hence, I’m hereby informing you that Mr.Larson Angok Garang was arrested by Criminal Investigation Department in Wau, South Sudan and deported to Juba. He has been under detention for almost three weeks without investigation and that is the kind of abuse, oppression, and injustice that we, the citizens of this country, stood against during the days of Arab regimes.

Dear Mama,

Please be informed that Mr. Larson’s colleagues, relatives and family members are denied access to see him in custody. As you are our great mother of all time, we are hereby begging you to release our legend musician, Mr. Larson Angok Garang, who is also a die-hard supporter of H.E president Salva Kiir Mayardit. Since he was put in custody without parole or legal charges, we believe that Larson did not commit any crime but some people are trying to tarnish his image for reasons that are best known to them. Please be informed that he was arrested by four senior government officials and three musicians from Northern Bhar El Ghazal State.

My dearest Mama,

Mr. Larson Angok Garang Wieu is a South Sudanese veteran musician, flag-waving and a great patriot of our beloved Nation. He shouldn’t be jailed for almost three weeks without being charged. This is a barbaric oppression and injustice of which you should intervene to release him. It’s unbecoming to intimidate and allow arbitrary arrest of those who are depending our president during these tough crises we are in. Obviously, he is purely innocent and a man that should be congratulated for being president’s die-hard booster.

In sum, I feel disgusted seeing a true patriot of our nation and image repairer of our beloved president being humiliated, tortured and incarnated on non-legal grounds. Having realized the marginalization and injustices being faced by good citizens of this country day and night, we must collectively mourn our beloved country because this is not what we fought for.

Despite, we strongly believe that you’re a great mother, loving, humorous, industrious and compassionate, and therefore, I knee down before you pleading for your sovereign pardon as the mother of nation to bail out your son, Larson Angok Garang Wieu from incarceration. He has suffered enough from unlawful detention that are now complicating his life and career.
