Unity State Student’ss Association in Egypt applauds regional and international communities over Machar release

June 21st 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – Unity State Students Association in Egypt applauds regional bodies and international community for decisive decision they have taken to exempt Dr. Riek Machar Teny Chairman and Commander in chief of the SPLM/SPLA (IO) from unlawful confinement in South Africa that he had been subjected to for almost two years.

“We Unity state students are cheerful for his release and deeply cherished the significant step made by peace observers to release him as partner in peace making process. He (Dr. Machar) is hope to South Sudan a peace loving man whose his vision is clear and  focused on how to unite his people in order to meet aspirational cohesion at all aspects he deserves warmly welcoming and good treatment every where as true leader who devoted his precious time at advocating for  unity and reunification of South Sudanese diversity to equally exercise their rights irrespective of whatever might be,” partly read the statement signed by the chairman of the student body Mr. Gattiek Gatkuoth Wichar.

The statement dated 20th June said the student organization regard the release as the second coming of messiah.

“We described his release as second coming of messiah and  indeed his participation in peace process is reflection of high possibility for buried peace to resurrect in favour of all South Sudan populace who believe in liberty, justice and prosperity and in fact his Participation in peace making process is ultimate determination of achieving the real accord which will free the peasants cementing their grievances and subsede it with joy and happiness which is basic wish and fundamental expectations of civil population in South Sudan,” the statement said.

The student stressed the need to end the conflict saying they have been dispersed to Egypt since 2013 by the Africa’s diedliest conflict.

“We had been dispersed since the outset of the conflict that erupted in December 15, 2013 which claimed a lives of thousands and forced millions to fled the country for their safety and as consequences of these hardships find you  someone spent three to four consecutive years without getting his/ her mom, dad or brother neither face to face nor through mean of communication,” the statement added.

The statement said Machar have not relingueshed his quez for a democratic country despite unlawful detention for two years without court consent

“Despite the fact that Dr. Machar has been in  illogic confinement without trial for two years in South Africa he neither relinquished nor abandoning his principle for exhaustion in house arrest instead, due to his personality as charismatic, eloquent and courageous yet he remained as champion and his detention has more boosted his nationalistic sentiment which sticking him in position of optimism believing that South Sudan would find a road through him as an expected leader who’ll make it to Canaan,” it further said.
