The National Salvation Front – Khalid Butrus (NAS-KB) is a faction of the NAS led by Gen. Thomas Cirilo which pulled out of the South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA) led by Gen. Cirilo rejected the agreement and since, military operations between it and government troops continued in the Equatoria region with the two blaming each other for attacking the other.
