June 22nd 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s SPLM-IO under the leadership of the former First Vice-President Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon have condemned what it called recklesness of the Juba regime on Friday two days after President Kiir met Machar under the Ethiopian government.

The SPLM-IO was responding to remarks attributed to the government spokesman and infomation minister who said on Thursday that the government want Machar to be returned to detention in South Africa after meeting president Kiir.

“The leadership of the SPLM/SPLA (IO) condemns in the strongest terms the irresponsible statements made by the Minister of Information and Spokesperson for the regime in Juba, Michael Makuei Lueth, who has shamelessly personalized the conflict in our country. This is unfortunate at a time when the negotiations are at a high level of maturity. This bad politics is from a known peace spoiler and it is only intended to derail the peace process,” said the statement signed by the SPLM-IO spokesperson Mabior Garang de’Mabior and extended to the Nyamilepedia on Friday.

The statement further urges the public to disregards Makuei’s remarks as it also tried to shed lights on the responsibility of Kiir’s government on the start of the civil war in December 2013 as started by the 2015 African Union Commission of Inquiry Report.

“The SPLM/SPLA (IO) calls on our members and the public at large to dismiss these statements as those from anti-peace agents in the regime. The catalyst and subsequent events that resulted in civil war is well documented by the Final Report of the African Union Commission of Inquiry on South Sudan, several reports by the UN Panel of Experts, Amnesty International and other rights groups. The statements of the Minister of Information are not only misleading, they are also ridiculous as one doesn’t make peace with friends, one makes peace with adversaries,” the statement said.

The statement reiterated the SPLM-IO committement to the IGAD-led peace process

“The Movement is confident in the peace process and we shall leave no stone unturned in the search for a just and honourable peace for our people through a negotiated settlement. However in light of the regime’s intransigence throughout the peace process, their constant violations of the Cessation of Hostilities Agreements (CoH), aggressive posturing and these reckless statements, the SPLM/SPLA (IO) reserves our natural right of self defence,” it stated

Dr Riek shouldn’t accept any talks with Kiir should no deal be reached in Khartoum. Taking TV he talk to Kenya is an artifice to lure him away from South Sudan safer border for him. Nairobi can decide to, after Kiir refuse to agree, decide to give an ultimatum to force him return to his detention in South Africa, or risk being deported to Juba like Cadet.

Why not destroy the so-called SPLM-OI since The Western World has almost or already dismantle its own Far-Right extremism including LE Pen ,AFD and Geert Wilders because most of them have been supported by Muslims ideologists to use Islam as THE TOOLS in order to gain majority in VOTES.
