September 1st 2018 (Nyamilepedia) A SPLA soldier in Eastern Equatoria state has murdered his wife after coming into argument over unidentified issue, several sources told the Nyamilepedia this afternoon.
The soldier identified as Arkangelo Lokuli short his wife in the head this afternoon according to several residents in Ifanaka village in Eastern Equatoria state.
“Today there was a horrific incident that involved an SPLA soldier and his wife. He shot his wife in the head without any viable reason for doing so,” one source told the Nyamilepedia.
Another resident said the soldier, like his wife, was drunk when he short his wife in the head after quarrelling.
“Yes he was drunk when he killed his wife. He shot her in the head with one bullet and died on the spot,” he said.
Another source said the culprit is in the police custody as the authorities kicks off investigation over the circumstances under which he killed her.
“Mr Arkangelo Lokuli is in police custody as the investigation is underway to find out the motive for killing,” the source which preferred his name not to be named said.
The victim is identified as Natalina Iyaa from Eastern Equatorial as well.
