October 8th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s main armed opposition group, SPLA-IO, led by the country’s former First Vice-President Dr. Riek Machar Teny has graduated a contingent of intelligence officers, sources told the Nyamilepedia.
“We have graduated a contingent of intelligent officers in Lankien yesterday,” a senior SPLA-IO general told the Nyamilepedia from the Sudanese capital Khartoum on Tuesday.
The main armed opposition commander said the ceremony conducted in the country’s Jonglei state was attended by senior SPLA-IO officers with tihe absence of the group’s chief of general staff General Simon Gatwech Dual.
“The chief of General Staff was not there, he was on a different mission,” the commander added.
“It was attended and addressed by H.E. Brig.Gen Simon Hoth Duol the governor of Bieh state, sector three commander Lt. Gen. Thomas Mabor Dhoal and other military senior commanders,” the officer added.
