South Sudan President discuss revitalized peace deal with Bashir, to meet Machar and Changson

September 21st 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan President,  Salva Kiir Mayardiit met this evening the Sudanese President Field Marshall Omar Hassan Ahmed Al-Bashir in the Presidential Palace where he hosted the South Sudanese president this evening.

South Sudan President is in the Sudanese capital Khartoum for a ceremony meant to celebrate the signing of the revitalized peace agreement signed last week in the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa.

Several sources told the Nyamilepedia that the South Sudanese leader will meet the SPLM-IO leader Dr. Riek Machar Teny later today and will discuss issues pertaining to the implementation of the peace agreement.

“Yes President Kiir has met this evening the Sudanese President Omar Al-Bashir and he will meet shortly the former vice president Dr. Machar in the Sudanese Presidency,” one source told the Nyamilepedia on FBI condition of anonymity.

The source said the two will discuss issues of concern mostly to the SPLM-IO and other armed opposition groups in the country adding that the leader of the South Sudan Opposition Alliance will also meet Kiir alongside Machar.

“Changson  will meet the President and well alongside the former vice President. They will discuss the issues of concerns to the opposition groups especially the number if states,” the source added.
