September 3rd 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – Juba-based security firm, the Insights Security, has accepted paying South Sudanese employees in Dollars starting September, authorities in the capital Juba have announced.

Last week, the security firm was pressured and ordered to close down by the Juba City Council after it was discovered that it was paying its South Sudanese employees less than quarter of what they are supposed to receive.

The Juba City Council announced on Sunday that it reached an agreement with the management of the Insight Security in their long-standing dispute.

According to the new understanding, the firm will pay the government something like a fine of $650,000 and will pay all pension of workers for the last 13 years.

Local staffs will as well be paid in the United States Dollar beginning September salaries and a new management will take over.
