President Kiir and FL Ayen sent off deceased. Lt. Gen. Boutros Bol Bol Angok

Juba, South Sudan

June 16,2021 — South Sudan President Salva Kiir Mayardit and  First Lady Mary Ayen Mayardit joined thousands of mourners and sympathizers at Juba International Airport this afternoon 16th June 2021, to receive the body of the Late Lieutenant General Boutros Bol Bol Angok whose remains were flown back to Juba after he passed on in Nairobi Kenya on June 10th 2021.

 According to statement published on Presidential unit today ,President Salva Kiir Mayardit and the First Lady conveyed their heartfelt condolences to the immediate family, comrades of Late Lt. Gen. Boutros Bol in South Sudan People’s Defense Forces and particularly the entire community of Awiel for the untimely demise of the top military commander. 

 Kiir described Late. Bol was an extraordinarily long-served soldier with excellent military records during his lifetime.

“Late Lieutenant General Boutros Bol Bol Angok was a veteran freedom fighter with outstanding records of military successes”, President Kiir said, 

” He served in many areas across South Sudan both during the war of Liberation and after independence”,  he added.

In honor of the services offered by late. Gen. Botrrous during his lifetime, President Kiir appealed to all people of South Sudan to cherish and remember military achievements of Late. Bol.
