Northern Bahr el Ghazal security is calm and normal.

March 9, 2021(Nyamilepedia) — The Governor of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State Hon.Tong Aken Ngor has said that the general situation in his state is calm and normal.

Hon.Ngor said this on Tuesday after a meeting with President Salva Kiir Mayardit where he briefed him of the general situation of Northern Bahr el Ghazal State.

According to a statement by the presidential press, the governor described the security situation as calm and normal.

“Tong Aken Ngor said, he briefed H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit about the security situation of Northern Bahr el Ghazal, describing it as calm and normal,” read part of the statement.

The statement continued that the governor applauded the president for the initiative he took to form local governments and delegating powers to them.

“In addition, Hon. Tong Aken Ngor applauded H.E. President Salva Kiir Mayardit for forming the State Local Governments and for also issuing a Presidential order delegating the power to the Governors of 10 States of the Republic of South Sudan to swear into Office the appointed State Government officials,” the statement continued.

The meeting was also attended by the Executive Director in the Office of the President Hon. James Deng Wal and the Assistant Chief of Defense Force for Administration and Finance Lieutenant General Santino Deng Wol.
