July 19th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s President, Salva Kiir Mayardiit, whose term extension instigated a global uproar on Wednesday criticized “outsiders” for using South Sudan, his country, as dumping ground.

Kiir uttered the criticism during the swearing ceremony for his new foreign minister Nhial Deng Nhial who replaced Deng Alor Kuol a Dinka native like his predecessor, on Tuesday night.

Kiir said the country has become a dumping ground for outsiders and that they are using it as a field of experiment for what have never work before.

“Now the outsiders are using our country [South Sudan] as a dumping grounds for what they fear might cost them afterwards And that is why South Sudan has become a field of experiments [for them]. Things that have never been done in any government or any country are being tried out in South Sudan: whether they will work or not,” Kiir who appeared not knowing what to do said during the swearing in ceremony.

Kiir who seems not optimistic about the IGAD-led mediation said he is ready to accept a peace deal that will bring peace to the people of South Sudan.

“People of South Sudan are looking for peace and if that arrangement can bring about peace to the people of South Sudan, I am ready to take it,” Kiir stressed.

Kiir said he has accepted that no one would be left outside the government as people begins talking of inclusivilty.

“People talk about inclusivity, nobody is to be left out of the government. I accept it,” Kiir further said.
