June 28th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – Three people have been arrested by the South Sudan Police Service today in the South Sudan’s capital Juba after they were accused of beheading two women in the neighborhood of Kapuri on Wednesday.

The bodies of the two women, who died in one of the most horrific incident, took place on Wednesday and their bodies were dumped by the roadside in the area according to an account by a woman to the Eye Radio.

The incident sparked uproar among women across the country’s political sphere including those working in the South Sudan’s bicameral parliament.

Honorable Dusman Jorce, the Chairperson of the Women Caucus in the National Parliament told the Eye Radio that the South Sudan’s women condemns the killings  and urged the government to bring the culprits to justice.

“We as women of South Sudan we condemned the act of killing women. Secondly if they get these perpetrators they should be taken to court,” she told the Eye Radio on Thursday.

The police announced also today that the three suspects are in the police custody amid intense investigation.

The police announced that the three suspects also raped a 15 year old girl in Juba beside he killing of the two women. The police added that the suspects confessed to the two separate crimes saying the criminals will be taken to the court for the justice to take its cause.
