June 7th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – A former news anchor for the UN funded Radio Miraya has passed away on Tuesday in the South Sudanese capital Juba after a long-illness battle, the Eye radio reported quoting a relative of the deceased.

“He is a lovable man. All of [us] liked him very much and we would have wished for him to stay for more years so that people can get the training he has in journalism and in comedy,” the relative told the Eye Radio.

A colleague and a relative, wrote on his Facebook page that the deceased, Lomeling, was one of the brilliant, knowledgeable and courageous person who worked with him in the Radio for a very long time.  He recalled how fast were him during their time in the Radio.

One of the most Brilliant, knowledgeable and courageous person I have ever worked with. Can’t forget the day I was in the middle of assignments and had to conduct an interview with Pagan Amum about the cooperation agreement South Sudan signed with Khartoum,we were only two in the office (I guess it was a public holiday ) you were doing the news…I ask if you can draft me a few questions…In less than a minute,I had every angle I wanted…you never called me by name, you call me Ngeri’ngi (nephew) and I call you mana’nge (uncle) . You are a great lost to the Nation. Some of us who met,had fun and worked with you will never forget the great moments and how your intelligence impacted each of us

Radio Miraya News Anchor was a lovable to himself and his cronies SPLM’s minsters. I don’t know him, but he is no good.
