November 19th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – A fire break-out at Juba’s custom market has destroyed many shops according to traders who spoke to Nyamilepedia this evening.
One trader named Mohamed Bakri said an unknown number of – but many – shops have been destroyed by the fire which he said had broken out at 6:40 PM this evening.
“The fire has destroyed many shops. It started at 6:40 evening time,” Bakri said from Juba.
Bakri further said “fire fighters haven’t been seen at the scene now and it is us alone that we are fighting the fire and it is now subsiding.”
