June 12th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan President, Salva Kiir Mayardiit, has dismissed the country’s Petroleum Minister, Ezekiel Lol Gatkuoth.
The President also dismissed Jonglei state governor, Philip Aguer Panyang, in a decree read-out on the state-ran South Sudan Broadcasting Corporations (SSBC).
No reason has been given as to why the two were dismissed.
Awou Daniel Chuang has been appointed to replace Gatkuoth while the President appointed Maker Thiong Maal as the new Jonglei state governor.
