TRUMP’S 59 Missiles Strike On Syria Gives Hopes To Victims of Dictatorship in South Sudan

April 7, 2017(Nyamilepedia) —— U.S. President, Donald J. Trump, declared a strategic military strike on Syrians’ dictator, Bashar al-Assad, a seemingly popular decision that sends hopes to world’s youngest nation, South Sudan and other countries experiencing similar situation.

President Trump order a targeted military strike on Shayrats Airfield near homs in Syria where Chemical assaults were reportedly launched by Assad regime on civilians on Tuesday.

The chemical attacks killed at least 80 people, mostly unarmed men, women and children.

Trump’s strategically calculated strike came just two days after Assad’s chemical attack on rebel held territory.

The attack, which launched 59 tomahawk missiles in the first day, sent a strong message to Russia, other countries supporting Syrian government, other dictatorial regimes and the rest of the world.

In South Sudan the United Nations found evidence that Salva Kiir government, supported by the Ugandan government, used internationally banned clusters bombs in the ongoing conflict but the U.S. under the then president Barack Obama, did nothing to intervene and investigate UN reports further.

Members of U.S. Congress have recently accused Kiir’s administration of engineering famine and restricting humanitarian access to some areas to reduce population of non-dinka tribes in the affected areas.

Like South Sudan, civil war has displaced more than 2 million people from their homes to IDPs camps and neighboring countries.

The conflict has severely affected economy and enormously depreciated South Sudan’s strong currency, the South Sudan Pound(SSP).

Despite calls on President Trump to intervene to help end South Sudan’s conflict, the new U.S. President has turned deaf ears to South Sudan and Sudan

Going viral on social media, many South Sudanese youth are appreciating Donald Trump’s decision on  Syria and call for a similar decision on South Sudan.
