July 26, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— The office of SPLM IO Tanzania mission take this opportunity to condemn in the strongest terms possible the illegal removal of the visionary and democratic leader, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, by the less than four politicians supported by those collected from the street to make the room appear as if there are many IO supporters in it.
First of all General Taban Deng Gai is no longer a member of the movement and also he has been removed from his position as minister of mining, i am wondering how can a removed official be nominated for any position in the movement let alone the fact of not meeting the quorum to make any decision.
It’s very clear that this was a calculated plan to betray the movement and aspirations of South Sudanese for power and greed.I want to categorically warn that any action that seeks to undermine the people’s leader will never work as the entire political and military leadership of the movement is strongly standing behind the chairman and commander in chief of SPLM/A IO Dr.Riek Machar Teny.
The track record of Dr.Riek Machar Teny is very clear,he has always been standing on the side of the people and his vision of a South Sudan where everyone is equal under the law, where opportunities will be awarded by merits rather by ones ethnicity, religion etc, will never die and will soon be realized. South Sudan will never witness peace until we change into a new political dispensation where democracy is respected
In conclusion, I call upon the The African Union, IGAD Plus to exert maximum pressure on SPLM Juba to adhere to the provisions of the agreement otherwise I fear return to full scale war.
