April 27, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — Speaking during the Opposition’s leadership conference last week in Pagak, Maj. Gen. Peter Gatdet Yak [Jundi Iraq], reiterates in the strongest terms possible that the country will never be the same.

The notorious fierce fighter believes that the current conflict will be the last of its kind and never again shall South Sudan return to war.

General Gatdet, who is currently the Deputy Chief of Staff for Operation in SPLM/SPLA [in Opposition], pointed at his seated colleagues, mostly majors and brigadier generals, and said “these are the men who fought the war for this country”.

Gatdet believes that all the internal and external conflicts fought in the country for the last ten years under Gen. Salva Kiir Mayardit were fought by none other than the generals who have now defected to the leadership of South Sudan’s former Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny; currently leading the rebellion.

“To say the truth, all the wars of Kiir were fought by none but these generals. There was never a single time that a military general stood up to fight Salva Kiir wars and left these generals seated.” Gatdet said.

“We have left none in Juba who can claim to have fought Kiir wars more than any of these generals” He stressed.

Gatdet, who was being translated from Nuer to English, assured his comrades that they are fighting the final war in the country.

“There is no other war that will be documented in this country by Kiir. This is our last war” said Mr. Gatdet Yak

Gatdet further reiterates that the current war has falsified many propaganda about the past liberation, citing generals like Kuol Manyang who claim to be superior than others warlords.

“During the war that we fought in Bor, they all came even Kuol Manyang, thinking that being a Minister of Defense he was above everyone but when he approached the front line it didn’t not take him very long to realize that he was nothing but just a regular man like any of us” Gatdet exclaimed.

The notorious general, trusted with vast military skills, has been regularly deployed at the most volatile parts of the country during and after the CPA such as Abyei, Upper Nile, and Jonglei states.

Gen. Gatdet was deployed in 2008 to retake Abyei from the Sudanese forces, which he did in less than seven days. After various assignments, Gatdet felt out with Salva Kiir government over deployments issues, tribalism and corruption in the government. He left the government and fought for more than a year until August 2011.

In response to a presidential amnesty in August 2011, Gatdet aboard a Jetlink plane to Juba to negotiate the terms of the agreement with Salva Kiir’s government but only to find himself in prison.

As a consequence, a rebel group that he founded in April 2011 called the South Sudan Liberation Army (SSLA) that is currently allied to Salva Kiir government under Gen. Mathew Puljang, refused to integrate into South Sudan army and instead assigned Maj. Gen. James Gai Yoach as their new leader.

Gatdet was later release in early 2013 after spending more than one year in prison to lead the government forces in disarming the notorious white army, and the Yau-Yau-led COBRA rebellion in the most volatile parts of Jonglei State.

Fresh from Prison, Gatdet was assigned as a deputy commander of the 8th Division but later rise to lead the division.

Gatdet’s Latest Defection

At the onset of the conflict on December 19, 2013, Maj. Gen. Gatdet defected with majority of the troops of his division. He slain his deputy and declared a full scale war against the government of Salva Kiir.

For another four weeks, Gatdet’s 8th division, backed by thousands of white armies with insufficient light weapons, fought and defeated government battalions in a series of intense battles towards the national capital, Juba.

By January 18, 2014, General Gatdet forces had repulsed major encounters by thousands of government troops from Warrap, Lake, Central, Eastern and Western Equatoria states.

While battling the South Sudanese army, which constantly reinforced by boats, on land and in air; Gatdet’s ground forces were constantly bombarded by the Ugandan warplanes that used anything in their disposal to frustrate an advancing rebels’ troops towards Juba through Jameza.

Uganda was later accused by the United Nations of having used the internationally banned cluster bombs during the battles.

Shown on BBC footage, Gatdet used strategic guerrilla tactics to overwhelm his opponents. He deployed his forces in small units that were widely scattered but in constant communication across the bushes on Juba-Bor road.

More than three senior government generals and hundreds of soldiers were killed. Many vehicles and weapons were also destroyed.

Between January 11 to January 18, 2014, Uganda deployed a force believed to be an approximate of 24, 000 troops to recapture the town of Bor.

To study the strength of the emerging Ugandan troops as alleged, the Commander in Chief of SPLA-IO ordered Gen. Gatdet to progressively withdraw the forces from Bor town.

Three months later, Gen. Gatdet was transferred to Unity State at the beginning of April, 2014. Within less than two weeks, Gatdet, in collaboration with Maj. Gen. Koang Chuol Ranley, captured the capital, Bentiu, and slain hundreds of South Sudanese and Sudanese rebels in the town.

Government generals such as Carlo Kuol were captured alive while others were either wounded or killed instantly.

He was accused by UNMISS of having slain nearly 200 Darfur Muslims in a Mosque in Bentiu, a call for which he has been sanctioned for by the United States and European Union.

Gatdet, considered as a charismatic leader and a good mobilizer, has switched sides many times and fought for and against various rebels groups, Sudanese and South Sudanese government.

Cataract disease will soon finish off your eyes. You are never fighting for freedom of the entire S.Sudan but tribal Nuer Kingdom which is a mere daydreaming. Leave pagaak and come to either Bentiu or Malakal whether you go back a life this time.

Come to front you will know Nuer. You just talk like women while you are protected by foreign troops. Why you bring Uganda if you really fighters. You know White Army well, you learn lesson from them. Since we fought with North when Dr. John Garang was our leader, he never think one day to bring foreign troop to fight with Arab. Ater and Riek Koang,

No matter how much you guys are trying it to block federalism and establishment of perfect democracy system to take root in South Sudan, Nuer will never ever accept colonization and re-colonization of South Sudanese.

Nuer did not make Secular United Sudan possible and they are not going to make dictatorship possible either in South Sudan. As long as Dr. Machar and Nuer are live and still live in South Sudan, dictatorship will not be allowed to take effect in South Sudan in which Nuer is a part.

Are you still fabricating and spreading your vicious lies here on this forum too? Why did Nuer and Riek Machar side with president Omar El Bashir if they don’t support dictatorship? Why did he (Riek) betray the SPLA/M movement in 1991, fled to Khartoum and allied his forces with Jalaba, accusing late Dr. John Garang of being a dictator and then later on returned to the SPLA/M like a prostitute?

Are you guys now fighting for Democracy Or Wealth and positions? If Democracy, then Why do you rape, loot, massacre innocent civilians and burn down properties? Even the SPLA/M that fought against the Arabs for our independence never did that for 21 years. Fools, you are just a bunch of idiots, liars, losers and looters. The prophet Ngundeng had the right to curse you people. Dear My Nuer people and Fellow Readers
Readers
Here Is factual Information and proving point from an article of best mind and quality research Nationalist citizen:

” Dr Machar and Gadet war was diligently fought without critical assessment and lack of vision as well as exile strategies, to why war was fought and what need to achieve.

Our poor innocents Nuer were mislead unknowingly through deception that Nuer were killed in Juba in 15-16Dec2013 cooked without logically independent thinking to what caused their death, who are they that died, their names etc and no properly analysis and exploring of options available on how to achieve justice for those that they claimed to have died their love one.

Most of the times if not all, The community of Nuer were total confusion and misled by Dr Riek and Gadet using propaganda and deception styles in order to win sympathies and win heart and mind of desperate Nuer without with them realising that the war is about Riek Machar to negotiate himself back to his position as a vice or prime but no about a life loss in the first place.

To every South Sudanese knowledge’s and minds Riek Machar killed more innocents Nuer In this war than what he and we nuer claimed to have died in Juba in Dec 2013.”

Foot note:
My Nuer people please stop pretending like we care about ourselves but we must to learn how to fight war and win others for our side. Most of our young Nuer people are dead fighting stupid war for Riek and Taban and many other crooked self servicing leaders.
Heee heeee heee. Nuer tribe we need to see more far enough away from we are at now.

Naath/Nuer and Dinka/Jaang have lived side by side for thousand if not millions of years since the creation of the universe with off and on friendly fighting like people of the same family and that is why we manage to assimilated many of your people. But what the adapted son of Mayadit have done is beyond reasonable doubted that you can try to depend your crimes committed to our people but things will never be the same again in South Sudan.

Those who live on this side of the River Nile will be force to join those jaang in bhar el ghazel because we will not make it easy for them to live with us again to do the samething to our next generations.

Take this in your empty minds that the Nuer are fighting final war for south Sudan as we did it when we liberated you from all the dominants of colonialist and Arabisation that took some of jaang/slave Dinka up to now.

Just wait for the results of this war you be surprised indeed if you will reach the end of the it to learn that the very person you hated too much to death Dr. Riek Machar will be the one to advocated for you to be forgiven but Naath will resisted any attempted by any body to stopped us from doing what we want and that is to disciplined you so that this stupid act will not repeated itself again.

Gatkhor:

You are a pathetic liar. Whom did you liberate while you are still under the occupation or Colony of Ethiopia in Gambella? Whom did you liberate when you betrayed us in 1991 and allied your food looters with Jalaba? Well, as you know Dinka like to be kuormidiit. They moved to Nuer in search of leadership, therefore most of the Nuer Chiefs/leaders including Riek Machar are all Dinkas. Is that not pelpel Jaang, my friend?

In fact, you did not assimilate the Dinkas into Nuer but instead you made them your leaders. Riek Machar’s Forefathers are originally from Dinka but they migrated to Nuer and bought a spiritual name” Dhurgon”. There is a saying in Dinka that “Go to Nuer if you want to be a Chief”. The majority of the local Chiefs in Nuer land are the Dinkas who migrated to Nuer. And most of the generals and political leaders in Nuer are Dinka descendants. Do you call that an assimilation or Brain drainage?

Please stop making an empty threat on the social media. Is it the first time that Dinka and Nuer fought each other in our modern history? Are you having some memory loss? I thought we drove you to Gambella and Khartoum in 1991 without Ugandan troops. By the way, turn off your laptop, get the real gun, not the computer mouse and go chase away Gelbeny, TetWeng and Mathiang Anyor in your Backyards instead of barking here like a Dog. Why did Riek Machar flee to Addis Ababa? Is that not a work of Mathiang Anyor?

Hello Respective Readers,

Oooo My God! Really Gadet, nothing new and surprise here about Gadet.

Here’s the truths Gadet is a tool to be used to bring destruction and despair to the people of South Sudan. He knew only about himself.

Gadet is an oil field police guard that was used by North to buy weapons and killed our South Sudan’s people. Bashir called Gadet as easy tool to be used and easy to be driving any direction as long as you bribe him and satisfied his personal needs…Gadet will be good to go.

Gadet is a traitor and collaborator and back stabbers leader..He can not define real mission he Is fighting for. His true color is just mentioned above.

Gadet do not care very much about his followers: When Bortown airport and and center was captured by Juba Government Gadet ran for his own life and left behind thousand of dead white Army. As all things came into reality he started blaming othe generals for their terrible failure to maintain ground.
.
Here is the bottom line: Gadet will dying try and will be always destruction tools for the people of South Sudan.

Gadet is not a hero. Gadet is visionless like his cousins Riek and Taban and most of our Nuer people.

Haaa haaa ooh haaa. Gadet will never ever think to come back and capture Bortown or Juba. And other areas around. Gadet and All his craziness White Army learned a lesson of their life very very very well.

Good luck with your own primitive Mentalities of all times.

All South Sudanese were rebels at one point including the illegitimate Kiir. They all too come to the peace table at some point. I am not buying whatever it is you are selling at the expenses of my people and there are 64+ tribes of them. With or without rebelling or joining the peace the rest at peace tables, there is one exception to the rules and that is they are all South Sudanese regardless of how you tried selling one derogatorily as a “rebel” and the other as whatever other crap you chose to perceive. Are you not wasting time trying to devalue what I am selling if that was the case? That false amnesty you should not even mention because it was false for you to boast about. The criminal that you are calling president has no more false amnesties to give because he will be at the very mercy of the 64+ tribes begging for amnesty. I really don’t know who is fooling who here or who is more less trying to hide their foolishness with distort beliefs. Traitors go back way back to anya-nya 1&2 and they always come back to follow the real objective which is the interest of the people of South Sudan, not some tribal vision but a vision for all. Reconsider how you approach me because I have no patience for idiots like you.

You even say they become a nightmare when they defect because they pose a greater threat due to their ability to use that talent against. You would never dream of entering juba forever if even tapostas alone. You know very well how tough Dinkas are. By the time they accept your sense war, you will leave South Sudan and become refugees somewhere. I am hundred percent sure about. When you talk about educated people, A nuer from a cattle camp is better than Riek Machar. He never thought positive. he always thinks of him. Gatdet has a mind confusion, mad man. He never fought for freedom and the independence of South Sudan. So, I advise you to stop spreading lies and prolong war. My people are suffering. You are there sitting in front of the computer and lies about war and encourage war. It will be always curse in life. We need peace! We need peace before it goes out of the hand of the most peaceful president, Salvar Kiir. God bless him and JAMES HOTH ,the man who truly believes in patriotisim.

We are powerful with the problems not with good things. You had really read about our politicians and generals. They all had fought for personal objectives. They pretended to fight on behave of Nuers. My uncle was one of them and that was when I realized we fought meaningless fight. God will turn those Nuers who turn into war into their own bloodshed in the heaven.
