Oct 15, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— In an attempt to protect their civilians in Western Bahr El Ghazal States, WBGS, a group of young men and women from the state took the unprecedented step of organizing themselves, recruiting, and going under military training to form one of the strongest army in the South Sudan called Western Bahr El Ghazal Lions (WBGL), under the sector command of Major-General Fayez Ismail Futor.

Recently, reliable sources have confirmed that the WBGL Army has acquired new weapons in a move to push the government army SPLA and its militia Mathieng Anyoor forces out of Wau city, in order for the civilians to return to their houses from the UNMISS camp and churches, where the citizens have been hiding and fearing for their life from the SPLA and Mathiang Anyoor’s brutalities and intimidations. The source established that the new weapons are believed to have been brought from Libya via Chad and Central Africa.

One of the field commanders of the Western Bahr El Gazal Lions, brigadier Abdullah Ugang, who has been commanding the division one stationed in Bazia area, has admitted to have recently acquired different supplies of weapons, including shoulder-fired surface-to-air missiles.

The Chinese made surface to air missiles, known as FN-6, were recently distributed to units of WBGL army, a high ranking military officer in the army and a longtime military ally of the SPLA-IO commander-in chief, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, said.

The general, who spoke on condition of anonymity, revealed that the army had obtained eight of shoulder missiles, 100 pieces of 50 CAL Machine Guns, 200 pieces of RBG7, 4000 pieces of AK-47 and enough ammunition.

As of 2016, the WBGL Army was estimated to have 65,000 soldiers, as well as an unknown number of military intelligent (MI) personals. The Lion forces are divided into five divisions all across WBGS. Three divisions are established around Wau city commanded by lieutenant general Ashap Khamis Fahl, in which each division of the WBGL forces around Wau city are been divided into three areas around Wau city, headed by brigadier Abdullah Ugang, brigadier Lino Ramadan, and brigadier Lewis Lembo in Bazia, Baggari, and Besilia area respectively.

Moreover, around the Raja city there are two divisions, commanded by lieutenant general Salah Momeki and Colonel Musa Dakomy in Gulli and Raja city, respectively.

The WBGL army has established an office of human rights at its headquarters in Bazia, Baggari and Raja to continue training its officers about the need to protect and respect the rights of citizens in the ongoing fight against the government forces. This is believed to has made the Lion divisions to be ones of the best forces in South Sudan.

The WBGL forces never recorded to have violated human rights or committed any kind of atrocities, killing, intimidating or torturing of civilians. For instance, on June 15, 2016 the WBGL army, under command of Colonel Musa Dakoma, defeated the government forces and captured Raja city without killing a single civilian or damaging their properties.

Also, on Friday, June 23, 2016, the Western Bahr El Ghazal Lions Army saved and protected the citizens in Wau city after the SPLA division 5th and Mathiang Anyoor militia indiscriminately opened fire at the innocent civilians. The Lion forces around Wau city then managed to enter the city, created a safe corridors and successfully evacuated most of the Fertit civilians from the city in order to protect them from further attacks. After evacuating the civilians, then the WBGL forces pushed away the SPLA and Mathiang Anyoor forces to capture Wau city without killing or destroying any civilians’ properties.

The generals are proud to be commanding well trained and professionally disciplined army with high military morality. The force, which compose of Blanda and Fertit nationalities, strongly empathize to work closely with other nationalities to ensure that South Sudan National Defense Force will be representative of all tribes and diversity of South Sudan.

Lt. Gen Salah and his colleagues are calling on all minority tribes in South Sudan to take this window of opportunity to train their army and organize them under the SPLM/SPLA in Opposition to topple the egocentric Dinka-dominated Kiir regime in order to establish a country that represents all the 64 tribes in its army, politics, diplomacy and all other organs that are currently occupied only by the Dinka and their bought loyalists.

Of course, a real son of Western Bhr El Gazale will not post such information online. Unless he/she is member of Kiir Security Intelligence.
Mr Luise Natale and Arthur Gabriel Yak, refrain from your dirty blood sucking work. We will get you sooner or later.
