May 18, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — South Sudan leader’s health is deteriorating at a very high rate, said one of the former rebels who gave up their fight to overthrow President Salva Kiir.

The unnamed source revealed to South Sudan Liberty News in exclusive interview with him in undisclosed location in Juba. The official who recently renounced achieving peace through the barrels of gun claimed he met with President Kiir in his presidential office in Juba. This meeting took place after they accepted the amnesty deal extended by the president to those who have not committed crimes.

This former rebel said President Salva Kiir may not be able to survive much longer time because he is visibly very sick, constantly looking very tired, and exhausted. He further went on to claim that Kiir, living on a borrowed time, may not live to the end of the year. Below is the full interview:

Question: How does it feel like meeting President Salva Kiir face to face?  And what do you say because there are people saying Mr. Kiir is not an intelligent man and often the decision to run the country is made by his chief of stuff?

Answer: Well, Kiir is just a normal person like anyone of us.  Just like any normal person, I can see he has emotions. I also see rudeness in him big time. During the time we spent in his office, I sensed rudeness and ruthlessness in him. I saw that one minute he can act normal and within the next minute he turns deadly.

I suppose this anxiety is due to the situation he finds himself in. Kiir admits during our meeting that he realized some of the mistakes he made and now he had wanted to correct those mistakes. He is open to accept any positive solutions to end the conflict in the country so that ordinary people will go on with their daily lives.

The official claimed in his answer that Kiir said that he cannot accept to see the country descending into further chaos. “I can no long afford to see the suffering of my people and South Sudanese at large,” said Kiir. At this juncture, South Sudan Liberty News cannot verify this statement claimed by former rebel official.

Question: How is kiir as far as his health is concerned?

Answer: when you look at the man himself, he looks very exhausted. He has fear of his own life. He looks shaky and traumatized.

Though the former rebel official who returned to Juba with the general amnesty extended by President Kiir could not pinpoint the kind of illness Kiir is suffering, he thinks it might be stressed related illness. This he said can be recalled when as you all might recall president Kiir collapsed during one of his trips to Khartoum on mission to meet his counterpart El Bashir in December 2014.

Other sources have also indicated that Kiir is suffering with undisclosed illness though his close aides declined to comment on his health.

Question: There are people who claimed that President Salva Kiir is not the one running the daily administration of the country, but Dinka general elites are the one running the daily business of the country, what are your views?

Answer: You know this is what has dragged the country into civil war. There is a group which calls itself the “Dinka council of elders.”  These are selfish and egoistic individuals who have not only misled the president but have damaged the image of South Sudan at an international level.

The so called the Dinka council of elders believed and have tasked itself with new Dinka imperialism culture. They are trying to build on nepotism, tribalism and this untold wrong concept and morally unacceptable ideology that they the Dinka are the masters. The others are slaves is the common cancer that has inflicted hatred and has placed the Dinka ethnic group in odd position with others and there can be no peace until cure is found to heal this cancer.

Now, unless this is corrected now, South Sudan will not be at peace, because no single tribe can survive without the others. These council of Dinka elders believes that it is only the Dinka who have the absolute authority, and supreme power to live anywhere on other people’s ancestral land, this is very common practice by the Dinka and Nuer in Equatoria, and Upper Nile, unless these two initially warring tribes changed their concept of thinking only they alone fought therefore owned South Sudan and accept that South Sudan belong to all of us.

Question: Why did you decided to come back to Juba and how are you going to fight the regime you once described as displaying nepotism, tribalism, dictatorial, genocidal and dominated by one tribe?

Answer: I and my colleagues decided to come back to Juba after we have seen discrimination by the Neur colleagues to our shilluk men engaged in frontlines. We learned this when we visited them in frontline after Pangak SPLA-IO conference in February 2015.

They told us how they were mistreated and killed in frontline by their comrades from Neur tribe. We were convinced and prompted by the devastation done in shilluk land by Neur and we tried to put the grievances of our people before Dr Riek Machar who is the chairman of SPLA-IO but he said there are things happening beyond him which he has no control of. Here he was referring to what are happening in the frontline and in battle fields.

He added, like the Dinka, the Neur have dominated rebellious, their common manifesto that they are fighting for the just cause and freedom, and fair liberation is used as a pretext by the Nuer to gain sympathy and empathy from other tribes to join them. He blamed the leadership SPLA-IO for not supplying Shilluk men with better weaponry to fight the regime in Juba, and also cited their return to Juba on promotion; everything is dominated by Nuer including promotion. Based on that, we decided to come and fight for reform from within because we realized there are many solutions to address the current conflict.

Question: What would you do if the regime in Juba fails to implement the agreement you signed with the President Kiir, given that you are now here in Juba without army?

Answer: When we met the President we ask him if he will kill us after our returned to Juba. The president looked and laughed and he said, he did not massacre anybody, he cannot even kill a chicken. We told him our coming back here in Juba is an open doors for many to lay down their arms.

If the President and his government refuse to implement the agreement we have signed with him, this will close doors for many others to refrain from rebellious and armed conflict will continue. And if he fails to honor his commitment to the parts, we have other means to fight for the right our people, and our returned to Juba has been negotiated by our field commanders on the government side. Let’s hope for the sake of peace President Kiir will live by his words, but if anything happened to us, we have our men ready even here in Juba to lunch any attack, but it is our hope that we learn how to address our issues on table as brothers of this nation we all fought for our hard earned independence from Khartoum by our dear blood.

Question: What would happen to the forces under your direct authority?

Answer: We want to create an autonomous like Great Pibor to address the grievances of our people. We are not fighting for anything but we want our presentation in the national government. We want the current governor Simon Kun to be removed and be replaced by Shiluk and the president has agreed.

The difficulty is we understand the current governor is giving 2% from the oil revenue from Upper Nile to maintain the president that is why the President cannot easily relieved him from duty. We found it hard that serving president has to be bribed to do his work? If that is what the constitution requires of the sitting governor of Upper Nile to pay due fees of 2% from the revenue of the state to the president, then it is worth for a Shilluk governor to do that in Shilluk land not a Nuer governor.

“It is ok if we can have a Shiluk governor in the office not Dinka or Neur governor to give the president the 2%” because Malakal is traditionally habited by Shiluk not Dinka or Nuer”. he explains.

Please note that this interview has taken place before the recent claimed of victory by the united forces of Johnson Olony and SPLA-IO, over government forces in Malakal, therefore some of the information could have changed on the ground.

The imposter on this interview is nothing but a liar if the quoted above paragraph is truly his statement.

You are getting better understanding an implicitly and an explicitly when reading and figure it out whether an expression is a liars or a facts. All Nuer articles in this website are most of them, if not all, are full of liars, nothing is near facts at all.

1st of all its not a Nuer article and you cant prove it is. I had issue with the specific statement I quoted.

2ndly what I quoted is not an expression but the prickle headed tet was clearly lying about Nuer wanting sympathy.

Had he said peace & justice as that is what the whole country need and not only Nuers, I would have had not taken problem with the statement.

The problem with you Jur is that you use Nuers as your stepping stones every search for power but you don’t want it to go both ways(give and take)

Deng II, remember you wish me death at one point you should die first so your wish is fair for both of us since I didn’t start this nonsense. Coward!

Simon Kur Peter

I think the people from Upper Nile Regions will have no good futures for years to come, because there is no one objection to be Table for their complains so that, others Southern Sudanese citizens will looks for finally solution. You got small tribe like Shilluk claiming that, they do not wanted Nuer and Dinka to lead the State of Upper Nile while, these two ethnics are part of the State residence and in addition to that, the Idea of taking leadership by force has become a gimmick from the former vice president and I think their action will back fire on them. We all know, they are living in a very tiny areas and if the government send 3 Divisions to clear them out near River Nile where did Johnson Olony will go?

Second to that, the former vice president had been denying many times that, he is not fighting to get power from the current president Salva Kiir Mayardit, but when you looked the way he is doing thing clearly shown, he is interesting only to take leadership and he doesn’t care about who got kills, wounded and human suffering on the ground there. The major general Mr. Johnson Olony had murders innocents Nuers in Malakal recently weeks and some Nuers individual were even fall sick person and his body guards denying them to visited Hospital within Malakal Town and now he was welcome by rebels leader Dr. Riek Machar Teny to be part of his general command which mean that, if you murdering Nuers people and run to him then, you will be welcome and there is no law to question him. I belief strongly that, the former vice president had betraying his own people because there are very strong case to support this Idea and I think the more supports he got from Nuers people, the more he will continues dreaming for his leadership which is not going to get it. Eventually, the majority of Nuers people will only realizing after when it is too late and too little to stop him.

Finally, although Dinka and Nuer were one brothers and sisters during 17th century thus, their human thinking are similar however, the Dinkas have been taking different path after brothers and sisters from Nuers left to stayed alone. The Dinka people are good patience, they are good in war tactical, they are good to put peace first than war, they are good to study the nature of conflict before rushing on war with poor judgement and they are also good to make friends around them. During the struggle years special, in 1987, the late deputy Chairman Mr. Arok Thon Arok order Kuol Manyang Juuk to fire spot on one battalion called Lasthom from Zal Zal one Division and Kerubino Kuanyin Bol thought about making revenge against late Chairman Dr. John Garang, Kuol Manyang Juuk and the entire of Dinka Bor but the majority of Dinka Bhar el Ghazal were strongly disagree with general Kerubino Kuanyin Bol because there was a clear mission for Southern Sudanese people therefore, he was been jailed until the late William Nyoun Bany pick him up and he had release him. Again, general late Kerubino Kuanyin went to Upper Nile and he was been giving 2000 armies by his brother in-law Paulino Matip Nhial, he went to his home Gogrial to fight against anyone found supporting John Garang and he made destruction in there but he was rejected in Northern Bhar el Ghazal State, he was rejected in Tonj Counties and also he had been rejected by the people of Lake State and this is why he end up by surrendering to Omar al Bashir but inside government, he find himself in the dangerous place because others Dinkas were threaten him for creating disaster. Another example, Dr. Boan Mawal Madut have been rejected even in his own communities of Twice county, the reason why I am jotting down all these Ideas is to educated our brothers for not challenging their own Son and they are supposedly to learn from the past which brought not only mistrust on Dr. Riek Teny but also bad memories. The former vice president has a lot of baggage and some baggage maybe will affected the Nuers politicians and his children in the near future. Please keep singing about hoping to hand power to your tribal man but in reality, it is not going to happen trust brothers, you can fights very hard to show how desperately you are and in the end of the day, the former vice president will be totally rejected for his past baggage and creation of rebellions.

Ofcourse you cant even if you try because it is what caused every other chaos we are facing. Try even if you have to lie because you will be put in check for correction. I don’t know if you chose to believe the wrong history or your been lied to and you got many facts misplace.

You are just joking without knowing what you are talking about, and not aware about what is going on around Maluth and Palouch now, as we speak. just wait, you will soon hear and smell the burning of your bunch of Women in Maluth and Palouch, Our gallants forces (Agwelek) have already deployed all Tanks, Rockets and Artilleries and also reposition our war Ferries (Merchant Vessels) ready to destroy any aircraft that may across over our territories. So please, you need to advise your step father Yoweri Museveni of Uganda, and tell him that Chollo Agwelek forces under command of Gen. Johnson Olony have a capability to bring down any aircraft that may across their territories. We are not joking your master must go. Gen. Olony is going to shut down oil field soon. Imagine if only one thousand Agwelek troops have flashed 8000 government troops out off Malakal town, do you think your Dinka militants plus Kiir’s Bahar el Gazal militias can defend Maluth and Palouch? No No I don’t think so, Salva Kiir is gonna have a heart attack in two days.

Why venting hate on each other like you are some kind as gods, deciding which tribe should remain or be vanished? I read some of your comments describing Southerners as”Children of God,” That is not correct. Children of The True God, not Ngundeng, should love life, sanctity of life, peace and neighbors as themselves. Those that are here, preaching death are children of the Devils, because, Satan is the killer from the beginning and the father of lies. Satan never spoke the truth. Those liers here, are being natural in imitating their father(Satan). There is one thing many of you, haters of life and peace should know, that whatever words you post on the world wide web is there FOREVER here, no matter what you do to delete them, though it may appears so, will be a witness against you, or a mark of shame you would leave behind for your kids to deal with. God the Almighty reigns over the whole world with Justice and Truth. It is God who bring up presidents and bring to dust any one he wills. If any rebels who now feel exhausted or depleted by the war, should know by this moments, if they really know the True and real God, that they are on the wrong side of history. God is the author and the finisher of the history of mankind on this earth, and there is nothing, Kiir, Lam Akol,Taban or Dr. Riek could do to change it’s narratives. History will move smoothly as planned by God. That is why True born again Christians are at peace all the time, and if you are not a born again, then, yes, you should worry because you have no solid hope that is why you pick up weapons, and try to steer the course of history to your own end. It will never succeeded. The more you rebels, deley to repent, the greater you are isolate yourself farther from the rest of 63 tribes. The clock is ticking, when is it gonna be? After you allow Reik to use you as his chess play, kill off Lou poor youths and lose the war as he did in 1991? Wake up and be civilized for your own sake, war and hate of another human will never realize your dreams.

That is your problem if you think Ngundeng is GOD, I personally don’t. Ngundeng did say he sees with the binoculars of GOD. What does that mean? It means he acknowledges and well aware of the existent of an entity more powerful and that he identify such as GOD. Don’t twist nothing buddy. All beings in the universe of GOD’s even the very entity we called Satan. Satan was too created by GOD but become greedy for power he was wielding and he wanted more powers. Something like the situation with the ethnic regime.

AKOL AKOL & wenyin,

You deceiver lie before you do any more of that read this (John 18:10). This man according to the bible acted in self defense. His name is forever a living testimony to courage in times of oppression but your names withered in the thin air. You called God’s name in vain blasphemously to have your ways with the victims. The man is now a hails a saint and you would agree. Your trespasses on Nuers citizens of South Sudan must be counter. You don’t decide how so shut the hell up both of you.
