July 9th, 2017(Nyamilepedia) —— We, the Mabaan community in diaspora are writing to express our deepest concern about Adar area. We are strongly rejecting a new creation of Adar County to be ruled by Dinka Malut. In response, although we understand that Adar issue is not resolved overnight an immediately commitment can be made to shape what now seems a dangerous threat otherwise the State government will be held responsible and it will pay the prize.

This is the source of a potential and it must be resolved before it gets out of control. Like we have witnessed in the Chollo (shilluk) property and land that were grabbed and given to second humans, it is completely unacceptable to repeat the same behavior in Mabaan. A widespread outrage of extraordinary high level of ethnic cleansing could result from such activities again. Today, Adar area is being exploited and it may cause another rift between Dinka Malut and Mabaan people.

We, the Mabaan people, joined you in your fight against Khartoum regime for many years until we achieved what is known  today as South Sudan, another independent State in the world. We are rejecting declaration of new county in Adar to be governed by Dinka Malut. We the Mabaan intellectuals cannot turn a blind eye when the yesterday victims become the today perpetrator.

It is our responsibility to express our serious concerns directly based on constitutional law of our country. In case of tensions between section of Dinka Malut and Mabaan people, which are not paid attention by the government, no one will be blamed. We, the Mabaan community, will blame South Sudan’s government for its inability to resolving differences between communities or reaching a compromise with the people of Adar state.

                   Repeated Warning

At the same time, the governor of Northern Upper Nile must pay prize, it’s very clear that we they Mabaan community around the world rejecting sick mind of Adar to be administrated by Dinka Malut. Unfortunately, relevant information and clear evident were provided by the Mabaan local government to South Sudan State level forwarded to national level that Adar (Ban Keta) reference to Mabaan in the history.

The governor of Northern Upper Nile State must stop searching and grabbing land that might lead to major issues between Dinka Malut and their neighborhood. South Sudanese voted for referendum to maintain own State an it’s home to all 64 different major ethnic identities to protect their culture. However, Adar or (Ban Keta) issue must resolved immediately, referendum is another common direct democracy tools thought individual has right to claim his/her land grabbed without any consultation. We they mabaan in diaspora strongly serous concerns about Adar or Ban Keta to be used by Dinka Malut.

We understand South Sudan is the latest nation in the world and the army has the key role in ensuring the country to meets its commitment to protect and respect civilians.

Your excellence, we strongly urge you to adopt a new channel to disposal suggestion of Adar to be controlled by Dinka Malut in order to avoid risk of conflict between section Dinka Malut and Mabaan people (Case of Adar)
