Febr 25th, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — As a result of the current conflict in South Sudan, the Ethiopian ruling party the Ethiopian Revolutionary Democratic Front, the African National Congress and finally the Tanzanian ruling party the Chama Cha Mapiduzi  through their many years of experience as guerrilla movements and transformation into national ruling party have stepped forward to share their experiences, achievements and challenges and their management of  challenges in the face of pressing national issues for the sake of unity, peace and prosperity of their parties and nations.

The Chama Cha Mapiduzi with the advice of the two ruling parties mentioned above approach the three SPLM factions.. SPLM Juba, SPLM in Opposition and SPLM G10. This came about after the three SPLM factions frankly recognized and accept that the root cause of the current crisis started within SPLM and spread to engulf the entire nation, and that the only way to end it is for them as SPLM leaders to sit down and iron out their differences in Tanzania so that they can negotiate in Addis Ababa in good faith and in light of what have been agreed upon in Tanzania.  The first dialogue took place in October 2014 and that meeting produces the first two documents, one was the framework for dialogue and the other was a communiqué outlining the objectives and guiding principles of the dialogue.

The many reforms items can be summarize into political, leadership and organization matters. The parties agree that the SPLM failed the country and loss vision and direction and have accepted the blames and agreed to apologize to South Sudanese for putting the country that has suffered decades of war and suffering to the same basket.

RECOMMENDATIONS:

In order to achieve true Unification of the SPLM factions, it is not enough to only address the root cause because the root cause contains packages of issues in it. The Chama Cha Mapinduzi should have gone beyond that and try to first understand the leadership, organizational structure of the SPLM as a party . The SPLM basic documents: The constitution, manifesto, rules and regulations and codes of conduct are yet to be steered to match democratic structures and the facilitators have to read and follow between the lines and finely in order to establish who was following the SPLM constitution and who was not. Unless all these matters are sorted out, the so-called re-unification is a night mare.

Thank you.

I strongly disagree with all forms of Splm and SPlm/io coming together in attaining peace of their common interest.if all the so call African gurriella ruling parties experts bring peace in such methods than its not of our national interest as citizens of this country and if for sure the whole world respect this sorts of agreements to peace in south sudan than who are we to blamed for the lost of thousand lives of our inocent citizens killed during the fighting of the so called SPLM/SPLM/IO.

The reunification of the SPLM/SPLM-IO/G-IO is a good step forward. All of them will then be answerable to the Hague, when the time comes, for crimes against humanity. The people of South Sudan will deport them,to the international court of justice for burial.

Riek is not welcome at our areas. I don’t know what is the differences between Riek Machar / Kim Deng or DKIM Deng.
