July 27, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– News coming from J1 reveals that minister of information and broadcasting, Michael Makuei Lueth and the newly sworn VP Taban Deng Gai are slated to travel to Nigeria next week for undisclosed mission. It is believed that they will be traveling to meet Nigeria’s self-proclaimed Prophet T.B. Joshua of the “Synagogue Church of All Nations” (SCOAN), over the current political crisis in the country.

The seeming disarray in South Sudan’s Transitional Government of National Unity comes in full circle on Tuesday when First Vice President Riek Machar is formally replaced by his former chief peace negotiator, Gen. Taban Deng Gai. Although the circumstance surrounding his nomination or acceptance of the FVP position is unclear to everyone, to keep this gamble work, Kiir is keen to do anything within his means including paying an illusionist who can promise a miracle solution to solve the mess in his country. It is not clear if Ladu Gore will be accompanying them or not.

This is not the first time South Sudan government is sending team of delegations to Nigeria to seek spiritual guidance and blessings from the televised illusionist. In 2013 a team of delegation led by VP Wani Igga, visited TB Joshua in Lagos and handed him an envelope as a token of appreciation for a prophecy he made about the alleged failed coup, a claim which was widely disputed and trashed by analysts due to lack of evident.

However, some analysts argue that going to Nigeria would not change the dynamic of thing.

“If the self-proclaimed prophet can resolve South Sudan’s political mess, why didn’t he try to convince the Boko Haram to stop their activities or been able to ascertain the whereabouts of the 200 school girls who were kidnapped by the Boko Haram two years ago?” says one analyst.

The self-proclaimed prophet, TB Joshua gained prominence in South Sudan for his alleged prophecy of an imminent coup attempt against president Salva Kiir. The President, since then, contracted him as his personal prophet and expressed his confidence in him when he said;

“The rebels have prophet Ngundeng on their side, now we have T.B Joshua on ours.”

He offered TB Joshua an advisory role on religious affairs but there’s been dearth of information on what happened to the offer as the prophet was never sighted taking his office at J1.

By Kirr seeking for spiritual solution to South Sudan’s cyclic crisis instead of political resolves, he is showing the world that South Sudan’s politics is dead, and now awaiting burial. In western Equatoria there are reports of extreme violence as the government is taking swift revenge against the opposition forces to make up for their grievous losses in Juba and also to hunt down FVP turned sworn enemy Riek Machar; In Magwi Kiir distributed thousands of AK-47 to civilians from his tribes for committing genocide against the natives of Magwi.

Is this what we should call a Government?

Osobi, all politicians have got their prophets they trust in. Let it be uganda or kenya or america itself

Enock,
Am not very sure about that but if they do then it’s unfortunate because politics and spirituality are two different things.
