An Open Letter to Patriot South Sudanese and Salva Kiir

An Open Letter
Source: Zee Machar/ editor and technical support in Nyamilepedia

March 20, 2015 (Nyamilepedia): Dear Patriot citizens and nationals of South Sudan, I dedicated this letter in order to educate the people who were less-informed about South Sudan’s conflict and how we shamefully disgraced ourselves when we chose to be led by the deceiver Salva Kiir. In this Open letter, I will demonstrate why Salva Kiir does not deserve to continue being the country’s president. The self-claim president Salva kiir Mayardit gave a deceitful speech on Saturday, March 14/2015 at a political function at which he briefed members of his government on the outcome of the last round of talk in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. On his speech he said;

I did not kill anybody to become president

It is widely believed that in every society there must be a leader who is mandated to take care of the community concerns. Salva Kiir being the representative of South Sudan means he must accept responsibility for every action occurred in the country. A leader is a person who takes the leads in blame situation rather than credit.

Mr. President you don’t have to be physically involved in the killing of Nuer or the shooting of Wau demonstrators to be a murderer. It is about sitting and watching your men discriminately killing the citizens they supposed to protect. In 2012 you willingly instructed General Paul Malong Awan to recruit militias known by the name “Gelweng” from greater Bhar El Ghazal states. This particular militia group was the leading actors of Juba’s Nuer Massacre which began on the 15th of December 2013.

Before Nuer Genocide was the event in which your men fire live bullets at a demonstration held by Wau’s residents in December 2012; the reason for the killing was because Wau locals protested your proposal to relocate Wau town to Bagari.

Nor did I impose myself

Mr. President you had been forcing yourself on South Sudanese since 2004 when you were jail by Dr. John Garang. It was Dr. Machar who convinced the movement chairperson to drop his accusation for peace’s sake; it was him who persuaded Dr. John Garang that you did not intent to defect by conducting a series of consultation that resulted in Rumbek conference. Recalling back May 9th 2014 agreement, you! Mr. President officially broadcasted an unforgettable statement solidly saying; “I’m the president of South Sudan and I must always remain in that position as the president; the leader of that country.”

Mr. President how can you rectify a wide spread statement that is witnessed by a millions of people? It is simple you just helped the World to accurately interpret your desire to remain in power. It has been a common habit of African’s leaders to leave the Presidential Palace to coffin but unfortunately we apologize that South Sudan will never be rule by a dictator.

People Voted for me to become their president

How could Sudan’s vice president claim presidency of an independent state of South Sudan? When was the independency of South Sudan? And when was the latest election held in South Sudan?

I would have answered all of these questions but I will leave my friend Mr. Riang Yer Zuor Nyak to lecture you the details on how Salva Kiir attacked on his own Legitimacy claim.

But as a tip, Salva kiir occupied the presidency by chance and he wrote his resignation letter to the people of South Sudan in the night of December 15th/2013.

I am not power hungry and not interested in power acquired through killing and destruction.

Mr. President, it was because of your love of power that you frequently postponed to convene a meeting of the Sudan’s people liberation movement (SPLM) party’s highest executive organ, the Political Bureau in fear of losing the candidacy of the party in the country’s 2015 general election. Mr. President the civil population noticed that the former SPLM secretary general Pagan Amum and his deputy Anne Itto had spent time trying to persuade you to accept the call for SPLM Political Bureau meeting. Mr. President if you are not after power why did you draw redlines to any proposal that interrogate your position as the president of South Sudan in June 2014. Mr. President if you are not for killing and destruction, why you did invite Uganda People’s Defense Force (UPDF),JEM, and SPLM-N to exterminate your people and demolish your own country?

Many People among you know that

Mr. President, after going through your previous speeches, I personally found it strenuous to accept the fact that you are sincere in every speech you give whether it was in the past, present or future. Mr. President, it is obvious that there was no veracity on your latest briefing to the members of your government when you blamelessly said; “I did not kill anybody to become the president nor did I impose myself. People voted for me to become their president. I am not power hungry and not interested in power acquired through killing and destruction. Many people among you know that.”

Dear compatriot South Sudanese, as you can see how deceitful Salva kiir is what is going to be your TAKEAWAY MESSAGE to your community and friends? Are you going to ignore this Open letter because of your tribal domination? Or you are going to help spreading this message to aware the world about Salva Kiir’s behavior in South Sudan. It’s up to you to decide. Sometime people die rectifying national issues when other dies on the fact that they are isolated from community due to their person searching (Selfishness).

South Sudan is for all and All for South Sudan!

Long live South Sudan.!

Long live citizens and nationals of South Sudan.!

Bro you are really true in your interpretations to Mr.president’s speech during the rally at John Garang Mausoleum.
How can he shamelessly said he haven’t killed anybody?
Do president really know what he was talking about?
Anyway that is a wrong person the people voted for him was wrong

Zee Machar
Your article is extremely very misleading and bias, lacking logic, and unwise article. Therefore, in order to write an informative article ,you must balance your discussions impartially such that you avoid giving one sided account,as your opinion suggests concisely by putting the two characters at play (compare &contrast),why are you sticking on Mr. President alone.Riek has played very instrumental role in leading the rebellion against his very own people ,right from the liberation struggle to date ,far worst beyond the President Kiir ,who never abandoned the cause of liberation to date, which was why the late Garang blessed him and was voted in as the president of this nation you are insulting. Zee Machar you will only realize when three quarters of nuer are gone, that Riek has disastrously misled you people but not Kiir. Try as much as you can to put facts clearly. You are firewood Riek uses to cook his presidential meals. More importantly mind about the way you use grammar,i mean tenses & prepositions, it lacks quality and impression ,so go back to school and learn more, your presentation is absurdly more futile in the of field intellectuality. We presume that all accounts you wrote are a trash to your educational level, which roundly questions the status of your mind and the entire nation.Remember nuer will never force the entire tribes ,that constitutes S.Sudan to accept your power hungry Riek to be president,no never,if coming back has defeated you, than stay in exile/refugee camps, for you don’t have sense of realization that is why you become victim of your own undying quest for power ever and forever-uncultured and uncouthed fellows. This time hell’s gate has been let loose.

Ater,

Since you claim to be an English teacher, It would be wise to check your English first instead of correcting others. Comparing your short refutation piece to the well-argued piece of Zee Machar, Mr. Zee Machar’s writing is 600 time better than yours.

The gist of the message is what matter; not the grammar of the message. With that in mind, you understood the message as your response indicate.

Ater,

Take it easy. Always the truth hurts. Zee Machar is a very brilliant writer. He supported his statements with facts. That is very clever. You urged Zee Machar to go to school! Why not urge Salva Kiir to go to school? We are not in a grammar school here.

We are here to share ideas and opinions so we do not expect Zee Machar and others like yourself to be like grammars’ teachers. Zee Machar is a brilliant write please give credits where it belongs.

Zee Machar,

You are 100% correct, but under that South Sudan president is a full time drunkard, he may have been drunk when he gives those speeches and his speeches are always written by Makuei Lueth, revised by Ateny Wek Ateny, and approved by Malong. You will never hear anything better in his speeches.

South Sudanese will never expect anything good to emanate from Kiir speeches. Every single day Kiir gives speech, blood is starting to flow out before the speech is concluded.

However, South Sudanese who are still protecting kiir genocidal regime and still calling Kiir legitimate president, must know that the regime is so deformed and must be reformed. Nuer will never ever accept colonization and re-colonization of South Sudanese take root in South Sudan.

Kiir’s dictatorship must not be allowed to take root deep inside South Sudan as long as Nuer are part of South Sudan. No matter how many mercenaries Kiir are hiring to fight Nuer, no matter how many tribes Kiir is mobilizing to fight Nuer.

Nuer blood is like Jesus blood which freed all men from sins. I am optimistic that Nuer blood that is spilling out all over South Sudan will definitely free South Sudanese of all walk, young and old, rich and poor, disable, and none disable from dictatorship and oppressive regime. No matter how long it will take Kiir dictatorship must be uprooted and be placed upside down.

Mabior,

Nuer rejected Secular United Sudan and dumped it in the garbage. Nuer introduce self-determination and now all South Sudanese enjoy the ripped fruit of self-determination. The same Dr. Machar who reversed the secular united Sudan, is going to overturn the dictatorship tendency of Kiir again. As long Nuer and Dr. Machar are part of South Sudan, dictatorship will never be allowed to take root.

Mabior,

You deserve to be used like condom. I will call Kiir and encourage him to continue using you as condom. It is good to know indeed. On the flipside, Nuer can’t be used like condom. We are independent thinkers and do not depend on Museveni to tell us what to do. SPLM is now a wife of Museveni so live with that.

“I’m the president of South Sudan and I must always remain in that position as the president; the leader of that country.” Kiir

This alone means NO ELECTION & NO RETIREMENT PLANS for Kiir.

It also means South Sudan is stuck with this idiot Kiir imposing himself on South Sudan and its people UNLESS the citizens decides to chase the idiot out of the country or simply put a bullet through the idiot’s head.

Kiir is a leader and mere negative campaign may not hust him.
He was elected and that the president will remain as legitimate until his time expires.

Miyom5,

There is no argument at all. If you want Kiir to remain your President, we respect your view. By the same token, it is necessary that you respect our position. Let him rule you for the rest of his life, which is Africa’s leaders normal way of ruling. But the Nuer have decided to break that records. We will not be ruled by such leader. We are in the bushes of South Sudan and we will remain there. We can’t accept dictatorship and it is our duty to reverse it.
Thank you and stay bless, Gatnyerub Deng.
