South Sudan President To Sign The Agreement To Avoid “Disasters”

Kenyan President, Uhuru Kenyatta, persuading president Salva Kiir to sign a peace agreement…

August 19, 2015(Nyamilepedia) — The incumbent leader of South Sudan, Mr. Salva Kiir Mayardit, admits that he has every intention to sign the agreement within 15 days.

According to Washington, Kiir assured Kerry, the US Secretary of State, that he will sign the peace agreement after consultations.

“President Kiir assured the secretary that he has every intention of signing the peace agreement,” spokesman John Kirby told reporters after Kerry called Kiir.

“He said he needed a couple of more days of consultations but he made it very clear it was his intention to sign, which is encouraging.” The spokesman added.

Washington has taken serious steps since Monday to see punitive actions impose on South Sudan should Mr. Kiir fails to sign the IGAD-Plus peace agreement that has already been signed by all the stakeholders and the mediators.

On Tuesday, United States consulted partners to impose United Nations sanctions against South Sudan leaders who undermined peace process. The sanctions may include bans on individuals and exports like oil.

By Wednesday evening, the United States circulated a draft resolution to council members  and diplomats, urging them to impose arms embargo. A vote is expected very soon!

“Imminent, I think that was the word,” Gerard van Bohemen, the New Zealand ambassador, said on Wednesday at the UN headquarters in New York.

The United States are committed to see a signature on the peace agreement, not an initial!

“It is the actions of signing that matters (rather) than the pledge to do so,” Kirby said on Tuesday.

As per the Secretary General of SPLM, Cde Pagan Amum, who attended all consultations in Juba, Mr. Kiir did enough consultations before the August 17th dateline, and therefore 15 extra days would be more than enough for the ruling constituents to reaffirm their commitment to the peace agreement.

“There is no really any more consultations, the president has consulted and finished all the consultations including last week on Friday and Sunday and the decision of the expanded leadership in Juba is to sign peace agreement” Said Pagan Amum, the Secretary General of SPLM, who also signed the document on behave of Former Political detainees.

“What needs to happen now is for president Salva Kiir to come back within these 14 or 15 days to sign this agreement and then we all go back to South Sudan to implement this peace agreement and also to implement the Arush Reunification Agreement” he added.

The continent has also refused to take it lightly any longer on President Salva Kiir regime.

The African Union Commission chairperson Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, has reportedly warned South Sudan’s warring leader to stop bringing “disaster” to his people and the region, a comment that has provoked protest from officials in Juba.

“Deadlock in the peace process can only spell further disaster for South Sudan and its people, with far reaching implications for regional security and stability.” Said Nkosazana Dlamini-Zuma, the Chairperson of AU Commission.

The Chairperson calls on President Salva Kiir to return to Addis Ababa to sign the peace agreement within 15 days.

Juba in Protest to Pressure

In response to AU Commission Chairperson and other actors, South Sudan’s government spokesman, who doubles as the Minister of Information and Broadcasting, Michael Makuei, calls it very unfortunate that African Union could threaten “disasters” when they are part of the decision that allowed 15 days consultations.

“The statement of her Excellency is really unfortunate because she was a party to the decision we made. And the government of South Sudan initialed the agreement with reservations and concerns and that, after 15 days, the government will come back and negotiate all the outstanding issues before the signing of the agreement. This was done with her full knowledge and actually I’m surprised that she’s talking as if she was not a party to all that took place in Addis,” Makuei said.

Juba, however, remains in confusion that the 15 days could encompasses re-negotiations of the agreement that was signed on Monday.

“Government of South Sudan, go and consult with your people and come back on the 15th day so that you can resume your negotiation with the rebels on the outstanding issues.’ How does she expect us to sign the final agreement?” Makuei Said.

Although the SPLM-IO, SPLM-FDs and other stakeholders believes that Salva Kiir declined to sign the peace agreement on Monday due to fear of anti-peace elements within his government, Makuei believes that his government is more concern of Security arrangement that involve handling over the “elected government” to foreign elements.

“Our problem is the security arrangement which is connected with the integrity and the sovereignty of the government and people of South Sudan. It is unacceptable because it has never happened anywhere whereby the security of a state and the head of an elected government are handed over to a foreign element,” he said.

Many South Sudanese people are just making too much noises that Salva Kiir should sign that rubbish being crafted in hotels, brothels and bars of Adis Ababa, but they do not know the greatest sinister game and scheme being played here on our country and our people by the most evilest of all evil people in the world and our own region.

Before the Sudan independence from Britain in 1955, Southern Sudan were given a chance to remain autonomous, but the Southern Sudan chiefs including my own uncle opted that Southern Sudan would be better off with the so-called arabs of the North Sudan, see what happened even before Sudan independence in 1956? We all know it. The war broke out in Nzara and Torit in 1947 that lasted until 1972 for Southern Sudan autonomy, which was abrogated by Jaffer Neimeri ten years later and another war broke out in 1983.

Fellows, open your damn eyes and see. Riek Machar and Pagan Amuom are the new South Sudan chiefs who signed out our hard won independence to the NEW WORLD ORDER experiment that is being experimented in our country by some evil people with some SINISTER PROJECT on our country and our people.

Be warned fellows, follow the Nuers at your own risk. Riek Machar and Pagan Amuom do not viscerally understand what they just signed and are asking Salva Kiir to do the same, but that is not going to happen under the sun as long as we are still here. Salva Kiir must not even go back to that damn ethiopia again.

Our country is being slyly re-united with the people with hate to death, the so-called cloned arabs of North Sudan by the likes of Pagan Amuom, Riek Machar and the so-called troika countries of the US, the UK and Norway, but this is not going to happen even in million years fellows.Let the greatest charlatan called Barrack Obama barks his damn sanctions, travel bans, asset freezes to even Salva Kiir, but his evil project in our country is long since been spotted and it is not going to fly in our country as far as we are concerned.

His Riek Machar puppet/stooge is not even welcomed back to South Sudan let alone being allowed to have anything closer to power in our country.
