August 25th 2018 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan’s peace talks has resumed today in the Sudanese capital Khartoum after almost a week after its adjournment, several delegates have told the Nyamilepedia this afternoon.

The SPLM-IO director of information and public relations Puok Both Baluang told the Nyamilepedia that the talks resumed today, something similar to what was said by David Laurance Lual, one of the delegates foe the South Sudan Opposition Alliance at the talks.
“Yes the talks have resumed this morning but no new development that I can tell you about now,” he said.
South Sudan government, and main armed opposition group, the SPLM-IO led by the First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon signed a peace deal early this month to share power.
Other armed and non and opposition groups also signed the agreement including the South Sudan Opposition Alliance (SSOA) and the SPLM-FDs who were initially objected to the proposed powersharing deal.
