December 11th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan government has been urged to implement the revitalized peace agreement it signed with opposition groups last year and end the ongoing civil war to enable for stability.

The country descended into civil war in December 2013 after militia forces belonging to President Salva Kiir slaughtered thousands of Nuer civilians in Juba triggering army mutineers leading to civil war.

SSHURSA therefore, calls on each power to support peace in South Sudan,” the statement added.
