July 2, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– South Sudan, a country at brink of economic collapse is at risk of yet another major civil war, UN and other observers warn.

On Friday, the U.N. Security Council issued a statement expressing “deep alarm” over the fighting in Wau that has displaced 70, 000 people from their homes including 12, 000 currently putting up near the U.N. peacekeeping mission, 9, 000 sheltering in a school compound and many others protected by the opposition forces outside Wau town.

Within the last 24 hours, however, a security personnel loyal to the First Vice President was shot and kidnapped by “unknown gunmen” in Katore residential area in Juba.

On the same evening a group of “drunk soldiers” loyal to President Salva Kiir started random shooting a few meters away from Machar’s residence.

According to eyewitnesses, the shooting took place between soldiers who were drinking at a local market at Gumbo at around 7:30pm.

According to SPLA-IO military intelligence, the random shooting was meant to instigate a full-scale war, however, the SPLA-IO took their position but did not response to the shooting.

The shooting, which lasted a few minutes left civilians casualties in Gumbo, however, those responsible are yet to be determined.

Observers believe that the shooting was done by unpaid soldiers to interrupt the wedding of Salva Kiir’s daughters, a view Nyamilepedia could not independently verified.

On the same night, earthquake followed at around 11:20pm in Juba for the first time in many year adding to fear of unknown.

While the young nation is nursing wounds of its recent civil war, many indicators across the country leave observers and civilians panicking as these could mean something major.

There has been similar fighting between disgruntled soldiers, civilians and the SPLA in parts of Bhar el Ghazal and Equatoria reportedly over cantonment areas and others over the issues of 28 states.

Due to many crises and lack of political trust between the leaders, South Sudan has cancelled its 5th Independence Celebration citing lack of finances but the country remains with no concretes plans

Mr kiir
now the time to
tell your forces stand down.any violations of peace agreement rules directly punished by yourself.
tell the people using all means of communication that peace must happen as you so often say.
tell hardliners they will be fired if they do not comply.
peace agreement must be implemented as per your signature.
