August 25, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —— The government of South Sudan has acquired deadly new weapons in a move to destroy SPLM/A in Opposition in the dry season, a source close to the South Sudan Ministry of Defence disclosed to Nyamilepedia news desk.

The source established that the new weapons are believed to have been bought from Arab Republic of Egypt last month after President Salva Kiir dislodged his former First Vice President Dr. Riek Machar Teny.

Machar was later replaced by former SPLM/A-IO chief negotiator and Minister of Mining Taban Deng Gai.

Prior to his controversial appointment, Gai was dismissed from SPLM/SPLA-IO on the charges that he [Gai] rebelled from armed opposition before Kiir installed him as his new First Vice President.

Meanwhile Taban Deng Gai, who is reported to have met with South Sudan army chief of general staff Gen. Paul Malong Awan and country’s Defence Minister Kuol Manyang Juuk pledged that he [Taban] will destroy SPLM/A-IO Pagak HQs and other strongholds of the Movementusing new sophisticated weapons.

The source didn’t disclose the types of new weapons that Kiir has acquired, however, eye witnesses report having seen tanks and other heavy artillery being uploaded from a cargo at the Juba International airport.

Relative to buying military hardware to fight Machar, South Sudan army chief Gen. Paul Malong Awan, on one instant, had withdrawn 5 million US dollars in Sudan Embassy in Egypt in October last year. Acting on Malong’s behalf in cash withdrawal to buy the weapons was Captain Dut Yai Anyaar, Malong’s secretary and personal assistant.

The transitional government of national unity formed last year per peace arrangement between the two warring parties is currently operating without Machar.

Machar’s spokesman, James Gatdet Dak, issued statements that Machar is still a valid South Sudan Vice President according to the arrangements of IGAD-led peace agreement.

Guys, the former vice president is not going to returned back to his position period. The new vice president general Taban Deng Gai is now Official the second powerful man in the new nation. There is nothing like that will bring Riek again to his position because it was entitle to him but for all citizen of South Sudan. Anyone refused to comply with new vice president will be punished for sure.

Sorry, I mean the former vice president was not entitle to vice president, because this is a Public service for anyone to serve in the young nation. Just to add some thing, the peace agreement is not dead until the militias of Riek Machar refused to comply with their own new vice president. Yes, the Fangak county would be recapture should those generals refused to take orders from vice president Taban Deng Gai

I would take 5 rockets. Strap Kiir to one, Malong to another followed by Lueth and a big one (to carry the extra weight) for Ateny and the last one for taban. I would shoot them up in the sky for all to see.

How can Kiir preaching peace in TV whilst at the same time waste money he doesn’t have to buy more weapons. A weapons embargo urgently needed. Then hope that no other state Kenya Uganda Ethiopia gives a single dollar to Kiir.

This is a truly evil mob barricading themselves in the offices of Juba at this time.

But no amount of weapons can kill an idea as history proves. It can only delay the eventual downfall.

The jeng can purchase all types of weapons! the question remains can they operate the machinery? by the way those tanks was made for desert wars not for equatorial region forest! the Tanks operators in Bilpham were Nuer and the best artillery operators are equatorian “statistics say that”. as usual jenge will not carry out that dirty job becouse they love luxerios life and theft in Juba , so who is going to do that job? big” None” with hungry Mathiangs Anyoor?comeon.

You have to join me because you love our food, but yet i will never leave your ass in peace. I will make burn in hell more than now

In fact since the freedom fighters have no other means of facilitating and acquiring arm supports, this is not a bad news at all for the freedom fighters will eventually get their hands on those weapons sooner than later by capturing many of the weapons as such has been the case since the war broke out. The new light infantry’s assault weapons allegedly manufactured in Israel that Uganda’s UPDFs showed up with on their way towards Jonglei in 2014 to meet the MWA were all left in the hands of the Mighty White Army warriors & fighters shortly afterwards.
