Government delegation leaves Juba for peace meeting in Addis Ababa

August 20th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – South Sudan government delegation has left for the Ethiopian capital Addis Ababa to participate in a peace meeting called for by the regional bloc, the Intergovernmental Authority on Development (IGAD), to review the implementation of the revitalized peace agreement, a government official said.

Yes our delegation has just left Juba airport as well as the delegation of the National Pre-Transitional Committee (NPTC),” the official said from Juba this afternoon.

Our delegation is led by the minister of information Michael Makuei Lueth as well as [minister of energy] Dhiue [Mathok],” the official said.

For his part, the information minister Michael Makuei was quoted by Radio Tamazuj this afternoon that the NPTC will be represented at the meeting by cabinet affairs minister Martin Elia Lomoro who will head the NPTC delegation and senior SPLM-IO member, Puot Kang Chuol.

Cabinet affairs minister Martin Elia and Puot Kang from the SPLM-IO will represent the National Pre-Transitional Committee (NPTC) at the meeting,” Makuei was quoted as saying.
