Sept 2, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– A senior general of SPLM/SPLA in Opposition, Lt. General Johnson Olony, announced that he has been approached to negotiate a side deal with politicians loyal to president Salva Kiir but he declined and urged the politicians to approach the political leadership of SPLM-IO.

Gen. Olony said he told the politicians that he is not a politician to negotiate peace elements and the peace that he needs must be inclusive enough to solve all South Sudanese problems, not just his tribe’s grievances.

“Some Government officials tried to Negotiate with me , I told them I am not a politician , I am a military commander , If they want to Negotiate let them Negotiate with the leadership Not with me because I have no thing to Negotiate with them” Gen. Olony said.

“the kind of peace I want is peace which will solve the problems of all south Sudanese not a problem of particular community” he continued.

The overall commander of SPLA-IO Special Division One, Olony, assures South Sudanese that he fighting for the country.

“I am General of Sudan Sudan ,I am not fighting only for one community , I am fighting for all south Sudanese .” Olony said.

Gen. Olony has fought Salva Kiir regimes for almost 5 years, since 2010, however, he temporarily joined ranks with the government following many amnesties issued by president Salva Kiir in mid 2013.

Olony defected again after his forces were attacked and his deputy was killed by government troops and militias from the Padang Community in April 2014.

Since April 2014, Gen. Olony’s combined forces have locked down all major routes along the river Nile, cutting off the northern borders leading to Sudan, and all trade routes in Upper Nile.

After Taban Deng Gai broke ranks with Dr. Machar earlier this year and claimed his position in July, Olony and other powerful generals have been the main targets for Taban Deng Gai.

Gen Taban, who commands no forces, has made attempts to reach out to other generals in SPLA-IO strongholds in Jonglei, Upper Nile and Unity State but so far he has been declined by most of the generals he approached.

Three generals have reportedly defected to Taban from his home county of Guit County in Unity State but the military governor of that state, Lt. Gen. Ruai Kuol Jal, has downplayed their significant, saying that only 58 soldiers have defected in all counties of Unity State.

Be advice guys, if you hear people saying, they are still supporting Dr. Riek Machar Teny perhaps, they are not telling the truth. I heard from my friends in Nuers, the Eastern Nuers believe their Sons have been misused by the former vice president for his political issue and they said, they would like to welcome Dr. Machar once again in Fangak to explains to them and I think the former vice president is not going to returned there anymore.

The General is telling the truth. Kir is not implementing the peace agreement. He is destroying it. And the agreement is best hope for the country.

If Dr. Riek misused the Nuer you want to proof that Kiir has put Dinka mathiang-nor into proper use?

Mawien Magol you are deceiving your own self. Wait for the growing fire to be vented.

Mr. Karlo Momoi Hidang whatever your hiding name is.
Salve Kiir did not called on the civilians population to joins fights, he only asking those who will be interesting in the national army and this is why it will not affect the whole Dinka population. Look at the time when former vp, called on White army about 25000 and marching Juba, is that not misuse?

Karlo Kong.
Really? Why the SPLA I0 recapture towns and later run away, is that not heat? The first Headquarter of SPLA 10, Nasir was been recaptured and they run to Fangak which closed to Gambella region of Ethiopia, is that mean coward or brave? Listen brother, we must accepted each others to lived peaceful otherwise, there will be no nation in South Sudan. We must learn on how to gets along with each other. Also we need moderates leaders to lead us and not extremely tribalism people. Remember also, our country has many things to make anyone become richest if we use our minds wisely. Keep singing brother about war.

Maggot, you and slithering Beek(AGUMUT)are such liars.

1st of all, there is no such thing as Fangak anywhere near Ethiopia.

2ndly the defection Beek is alluding to like a gossiping bitch ..is political and a wealth opportunity defection. Jaang thugs are playing with South Sudan money. Using that $$, they cast baits($$) out there for the faint hearted hungry fish to make a run for ’em.

Hence the case of former embassy officials re-defecting back to the same savages they ran away from fearing being harmed due to their ethnicity. After all 99% of the times it broils down to $$ of course.

Only a mother with unconditional love would embrace and welcome back their defected and re-defecting sons and daughters siding with the a genocidal Jaang government who committed every possible crime under the sun and the moon. The rest is unpredictable.

Keep hoping about leadership of former vice president, but there is nothing than doing same thing foolproof over and over again. Gen. Taban Deng Gai, John Luke Jok and many others Nuers leaders are moderates and there will be a good leader which will become a president of South Sudan but not Dr. Riek Machar Teny, not Dr. Lam Akol Ajawin and not Dr. Peter Adwaok Nyaaba. These individuals are foolproof for many times and they are done, no more hope, no how they will come back to lead again this is no no no answer brothers.
