Former SPLM-IO Chapter Spokesperson in Egypt names Press Secretary.

Juba, South Sudan

February 4, 2022 — Former Chapter Spokesperson in Arab Republic of Egypt, Mr. Gattiek Wichar has been appointed the Press Secretary in the office of the Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation.

Speaking to Nyamilepedia from capital, Juba Mr. Wichar says he is very excited to work under Hon. Manawa Peter, the current Minister of Water Resources and Irrigation, as the Press Secretary adding that he will commit himself to the task.

“.. I am very happy for the trust vested on me by Hon. Minister Manawa Peter Gatkuoth to serve in his office as an official press secretary “, Wichar told Nyamilepedia from South Sudanese capital, Juba on Wednesday.

He added that working under Hon. Manawa will give him experience and leadership skills which according to him are very valuable and extraordinary.

“… Well, I am quite sure that working in the office of Hon. Manawa is an opportunity and privilege which I will use to explore more experience in leadership and to me this means a lot”,Wichar said with excitement.

Mr. Wichar served as the Deputy Information for SPLM-IO Youth League in Egypt from 2016-2017.

He served as the Chairman at Unity State Students Association in Universities and Higher Institutions in Arab Republic of Egypt From 2018-2020 and worked as the SPLM-IO Chapter Spokesperson from 2020-2021.
