April 24, 2016(Nyamilepedia) —– Speaking on BBC, Eric Reeves, a professor of English Language and Literature at Smith College in Northampton, who has spent the past sixteen years working as a Sudan researcher and analyst, calls on Salva Kiir government to sideline hardliners.

Blaming politicians like Michael Makuei, the Minister of Information, for opposing the peace agreement and continue to delay its implementations, Reeves believes that unless Makuei and other hardliners are silenced, there will be no peace in South Sudan.

“I would highlight again information Minister Lueth who has been so conspicuously unhelpful for so many months. He opposed the peace agreement, he is the one who has made so much trouble about the number and size of weapons” Reeves said.

Reeves, a sympathizer of Kiir’s government, proposes that hardliners like Lueth on both sides must be sidelined for South Sudan Peace agreement to hold.

“Spoilers need to be sidelined otherwise” Reeves said.

Makuei, a loud politician who speaks for Salva Kiir government, has been quoted in international media like BBC and Al jazeera for outrageous hate speeches and incitement of tribal hatred over the last two years, however, both his president Salva Kiir and the international community have ignored his negative impacts on peace agreement.

Makuei has picked his own fight against any politician in SPLM-IG, SPLM-IO, other opposition parties and with members of NGOs.

In his latest speech, Makuei warned that his government will not accept any other demand from SPLM/SPLA-IO.

“We expect Dr. Riek Machar to move in as soon as possible together with Chief of Staff. Any delay there after the government of South Sudan will not be ready for it, any further conditions will not and I repeat will not be accepted by the government of South Sudan” Makuei Said.

According to many analysts, South Sudan will never be stable without Dr. Riek Machar Teny, the leader SPLM/SPLA-IO who will be sworn in as the First Vice President upon his return.

Due to delayed clearance approval, Machar may arrive in the capital, Juba, on Monday for the formation of Transitional Government of National Unity.

look at him he look grimace or looking ugly face of violence Makuei and Maluong plus JCE those are the people who wanted the nation to be exacerbate instead to blame Dr.Machar while they are the people who makes delaying for the return of the top leader of Io since from 18April till today .I don’t see the blame on Dr.Machar he is exculpate on any blame for his delaying to Juba Yaaa!!!Junubiin all everything is government of Juba who delayed the top leader to arrive on time as it was scheduled due to their fears of Io weapons and the remaining of Io officers 400 troops who were not completed to transported from that time to Juba .So now Io he has right to transported those officers together with their chief of general staff according to peace agreement which has been signed in A/A. No need for the government to make verification on Io weapons the right body is JMEC AND others peace mediators okay’ let them verified them and the clearance of two airplanes will be easy to confirms.

get rid of Makuei Lueth, get Malong into the fold – oh, and get rid of Kiir’ seemingly endless supply of “Presidential Decree” paper. Remind Kiir that all power comes from the peopke of South Sudan as represented by the Parliament. Kiir formed the Government with Ministers to run their various Departments as per the wishes of the Parluament. . Ministers Advice the Parliament. Ministers can’ t and don’t rule. They advice only. Kiir’ only role is to formulate strategy with his Ministers, but the last word belongs to the Parliament.
Can’t someone educate Kiir & co of these simple facts? And whilst doibg this also mention that no one is above the constition (such as it is), not even Kiir..

Riek Machar might be coming back not for peace but because has run out of money, his hatred for dinka tribe has always consumed him, he is coming back to get more money and after that repeat the same course he has always been on it, but the next time he tries it, I swear that will be the end of his life and on the other side Salva kiir n his politicians are not willing to do the country any positive impact if I am to give my suggestion the American and the peace makers should remove both Salva and Riek to ICC and leave South Sudan a lone

Dear Mayom

How many years do you still remember Dinka especially Kiir had been a head of State? Do you personally enjoy any reforms, relief with great accomplishment? Kiir”s regime has started a strong animosity by segregated people in South Sudan with so much hatred. We have all witnesses as people of the country for more than decade now. He’s massacre and committed human gross catastrophic in South Sudan by killing every tribes and bribes others by giving him upper hand. For example, he has bribes Murlee recently to killed Nuer in Ethiopia. He terrorize different ethnicities groups in South. We haven’t seen Dr.Riek, doing those heinous crimes against his own people in the country as president. So therefore, you can’t judge the book by its cover, if you want Dr.Riek to go to ICC like you mentioned, let’s all give our allegiance to him and votes for him to become a president of South Sudan. Because to me in opinion, Dr.Riek had been a victims like anyone who always on rope only to be hang for whatever he says and who he’s .Furthermore, Dinka under Kiir had been ruling the country without lucrative economy, infrastructure and development for many years and the country is not thriving which also another failures of so called Dinka kingdom in government. We have now experiences the same inequalities and injustices we had combating for with Arabs in the North Sudan under Bashir. Many people including myself now appreciate Omar Bashir more than Salva Kiir for safety, honesty, hospitality and even freedom. A lot people with exception of ethnic Dinka right now feel relieved when they went to either North Sudan or the Federal Republic of Ethiopia. Dinka have never votes for reforms in the country but just voted for foods, money a destabilizing the country and killing innocent children, civilians and citizens of South Sudan. Eventually, Dinka are rascal who discriminates and because of money wanted to exterminate other tribes, you better shut up your filthy mouth and just see the world what they will do for you in committed all these atrocities.

Thanks you by Bol Gat Jang

Bol Gatjang,
Jieng deserves no reproachment for the current crisis that engulf our country b’se this war is your own making.
Tell me did president Salva Kiir prevent Dr.Riek Machar from running for presidency in 2013?
Did Dr. John Garang prevent Dr. Riek Machar from the top leadership in 1991?
Why why why is Dr. Riek Machar always the cause of suffering in South Sudan.
Now do you acknowledge the contributions played by your white army and Internet Warriors in widening the gap b’tn Dinka and Nuer?
These opportunistic groups have dampened Dr. Riek Machar ambition into dust bin of history unless he distant himself from tribal politics and rebrands himself as a nationalist.
You talk of Bashir honesty, hospitality, freedom and safety provided in Khartoum when you left the Dinka during the liberation time.
That statement alone proves beyond reasonable doubt that you are a man of no shame for your historical messes and betrayal.
Shame on you!

Akhot you usually full of indecency in your message, Do you think to run for presidency when you dead? Kiir intended to kill Dr.Riek in order to get rid of him since he knows he going be looser. If in election. He was also uneducated and defeated by Dr.Riek during the debate and unfortunately applied his military power. Is not embarrassing and shame to killed his voters door to door in Juba in 2013?

Bol Gatjang,
What’s your justification for President Salva Kiir’s intention to kill Dr. Riek Machar before the outbreak of the violence in 2013?
Dr. Riek Machar and his inner circles first planned to overthrow Salva Kiir through the political means and if not the last resort or plan B was military coup.
This was evidenced in the secret tap recorder in which Gen.Taban Deng Gai was overheard saying to commander that the big man said you should start and he was also heard inquiring if the youths around the maintain got the required armament prior to mutiny in Giada military barrack.
Now let me ask you,who is the big man according to this secret tap conversion and what was that thing your commander should start?
Why the youths were assembled around the maintain and given the arms?
Now that you got the insides of event, answer these questions and stop your blame of Salva Kiir.

Dr.Machar, is in Juba right now buddy, it is for reconciliation and healing. Iam not going to response by telling you what I know,Akhot, let’s works to condone ourselves. But remember that Kiir’s past ideology was to get rid of Dr.Riek because of power struggle. However, in one way or another, we may perhaps become friends.soon.

I like this debate, but I want to point out something very clear, Riek Machar(PHD) has done many agreement with Dinka elite but they always manipulated his agreement with him, and used it has surrendering, the Dinka never have respect for Nuer national figure but Nuer always respect Dr.John Garang, this need to stop, the Dinka need to get it right, Nuer people treated any sought of agreement with Dinka involves very careful, because deep inside of them there is true beast against Nuer and so as the nuer agains dinka, this has nothing to do with anything happen or not happen, it’s just long long and long fear of threat among two, senses of insecurity on either side came from all back in the day off their Cultural territorial integrity, it has everything to do why they can not get to agreed in everything, but Nuer did try many time to get along with their brother Dinka and took for granted but always fold back on their ass, when an Inevitable of Dinka happen, this time even though it’s a shaky peace agreement we as a young generation need to curve the negativity wisely, and stable things the way they are written in the agreement, any surprised change we should stand together and stop it. Let us not allowed our passes got to us so fast. The long stand problem between them will only go away with a lot work using all the education we have and create a healthy relationship among two.
