Sept 12, 2015(Nyamilepedia) —- South Sudan’s former Vice President, Dr. Riek Machar Teny, will lead a high-level delegation to attend the 70th session of the United Nations General Assembly at the United Nations headquarters in New York.

According to Dr. Machar’s Press secretary, James Gatdet Dak, the top leadership of SPLM/SPLA has been officially invited by the UN Secretary General, His Excellency Ban Ki Moon.

“SPLM/SPLA Chairman and Commander-in-Chief, Comrade Dr. Riek Machar Teny-Dhurgon, will lead a delegation to New York for a high-level meeting on South Sudan.” James Gatdet Dak said.

According to a statement extended to Nyamilepedia Press, the meeting will be held at the level of Heads of State and Government with aims to galvanize international support for the implementation of the Peace Agreement signed in August by the parties to the 20-month long conflict.

The South Sudanese delegations are expected to address and pledge their commitments to implement the Compromise Peace Agreement as prescribes in the IGAD-Plus document signed by Dr. Machar and other stakeholders on August 17th, and by Salva Kiir on August 26th, 2015.

Dr. Machar, who attended the 25th Extraordinary Summit of the African Heads of States and Governments in June this year, was recently nominated by the leadership of the armed Opposition, SPLM/SPLA, for the position of the First Vice President, Chairman and Commander-in-chief of SPLM/SPLA.

While Dr. Machar and SPLM/SPLA[IO] leaders are continuing their consultations in Pagak, South Sudan, the two South Sudanese delegations are expected to arrive in New York before Sept 29th, 2015.

Dr. Riek should not and must not even dream of making the grave mistake of 2002 where he rescued the Dinka-run SPLA from eminent collapse again.

That total lie. Salva Kiir will be the very man who be sent to ICC court! He mercilessly murdered innocent Nuers and South Sudanese who died in Juba that time. Dr. Riek is a victim of aborted coup by President Salva kills! The truth hurts. Please give Dr. Riek Machar a credit. He saves all South Sudanese lives from a bully regime in Juba.

Dr. Machar is invited to a head of state’s meeting in New York, tribal chief Kiiir will be inform to report to icc sooner after. AGUMUT, eat your heart dude, change is coming and it’s pointless to continue being a defecto compatriot. The truth is, Dec/15/2013 dialogue initiated by a good #s of senior SPLM members is where we are back at now and nothing has changed but to go ahead with reforms. Are you with us or do you wish to fire more rounds that you can’t afford to purchase.

Stop Calling Agumut’s name again because Nuer’s problem is not my problem,i am not in the government and government have nothing to do with me . You should blamed both Mabior’s Mama and Dr.Riek Machar for deadly Hacking. Secret Hacking was left by Dr.John Garang to Nyandeng and she passed it to Riek Machar. Both thought they were the Messiah, but it is now a nightmare, their life will not be the same again.

Agumut,

Peace is coming with Dr Riek in full swing! Peace spoilers will have an antidote! Dinkas, China and Russia don’t support those affected by the war, US and the UN do. Let them dictate terms, be at the receiving ends!

This is a good news, diplomatic offensive continue. With Dr. Machar there is hope for people of South Sudan. This man is the glue that bind us together. May God bless him to bring the changes we all yearn for. May God heal the broken hearts of our people and reconcile to end the suffering. In the name of Jesus Christ I pray, Amen.

UN councils are aobout pecearound the world therefore as things stands, Dr Machar and all the SPLMs factions that signatries to the CPA II are technicaly peace partners with Machar as the commander in chief of his miitary and poliical wing. Dont get all jelous becase warlordsin Juba were not extended an nvitation by an orgaization that advocates peace, Kiir and his geneals plus the JCE are proving what I sspected all along that they are enemies of peace. No wonder the Mr.Moon shy away dinning them atleast too soon. Moon would not want to look stupid in front of honerary heads of states sitting next to a man like Kiir who doesnt know the civilized manner of conducng himself or state affairs. Nor would Moon wants the unecessary papparzi taunting him bout Kiir at the meeting that he(Kiir & M7) are for peace while fighter jets from Uganda are bombing poor children in Uper Nile State. Machar is invited because he is the best peace lovers have got to look to regardless of if he is a head of state or not. ALONEWOLFE, the status of South Sudan is up for debates. News flash…its a faled state meaning even the head of state itself is just a meangless tittle even a two years old child can be given such a tittle just to make his day. Go to new york you ae invited if your government can afford ticket or fuel to leave Juba. Your actually not a wolfe but a blackmailin 91 Bor crybaby.

Thak & Gatdarwich, Dr Machar likes to appease Jaang in return for political support that he hardly gets. What does he get in return? Nothing but threats and humiliations. If they could bury him alive they would. As much as I like him to lead the country’s initiative & reforms. If he continues sweeping under the rug the calls for developing Nuer communities in order for them to have a fair chance and a competitive edge considering more than a dozen setbacks by Jaang using his name to destroy Nuer communities, actually the whole region, the Jaang can come take him in front of the Nuers while they look the other way. After the transitional government the election is next. Roads, airports, clean waters, hospitals, shcools, electric energy, telecommunication networks, developmental tools such as farming and construction equipments are what will make rebuilding lives and communities easier. Sending the youths for training in all areas of developmental services will be required instead of bringing in foreigners to take away jobs. When he was in the government for 8 years and did not emphasize on these basic needs and service Pagaak the seat of his government does not even have an out house. And should the war break out again before the anticipated election after the interim period he Machar again would run back to or Through Pagaak and still find the place the way he left it shamelessly. I don’t doubt Dr Machar is an strategic expert but the lack of basic necessities, lack of competitive edge & political competitiveness in his home region of Upper Nile contributed negatively to his cause during the 20+ months of the conflict. This he should re-evaluate with honest and non bias approach.

The invitation of Dr. Machar by the UN general secretary to attend an high level meeting in the capital of the the united states -NEW YORK, imply that, Machar is really a true leader, not a rebel because he was fighting with reason.

No doubt that Machar would make a change to the way how the country is being led by the current government. i remember one of the statements mentioned by the late Dr. John Garang during the public consultation of the comprehensive peace agreement in Nivashia kenya in 2005, when he said that “SUDAN cannot and will never the same as this peace will engulf this country in democratic and fundamental transformation.

South sudan cannot and will never be the same as Dr. Machar will bring changes to it. Away with the current government and its cruel leader. yes for a true leader chosen by God to feed this young new nation in democratic and fundamental transformation. MACHAR IS RIGHT.

UN invites anyone who requested for attendance. Machar is fast in taking decision without any analysis and that’s why he always make a lot of mistake he never shame of. UN lives through crisis otherwise they will have no project to run and this’ what Machar lack. UN is always good with yes man and not to someone who opposes them.

Please, let ‘s support another Nuer politician, Riek is dead body and you will mark my word in Febuary,2016.

Nice try brother, get a different name instead of using Nuer names. It’s spell as Gatluak and not Galuak.
Too shame of using Monyjang names? Jealousy of Machar won’t move us forward, keep barking while the train has already left the station.

Don’t wory about Dr Riek Machar going to new York for submit, his representation is good for south sudan people.

He ‘ll not accuse the finger pointer, but urge the world leaders to help the country stability once again. So let leave all the crafts out and follow the humble man.

Dr. Riek did not enter to that meeting. Do you know why he went there? To be humiliated by those brilliant American journalists. He didn’t even talk to Obama. He thought that America is in the position to install him as president of South Sudan. America wants only peace, and not installing anyone. You cannot threaten America to follow you. All those thing which he unanalyzed reduced his image to nothing.
