July 12, 2020 (Nyamilepedia) – A huge fire has broken out in Gudele 2 market destroying an unknown number of shops and a huge number of goods, residents, and businessmen have said this morning.
According to one businessman, the fire broke out at 6:30 at a shop and went on to consume several other shops whose owners were yet to open. The businessman added that no firefighters have arrived at the scene since.
“A very huge fire broke out this morning at Gudele. Several shops have been razed to the ground and unfortunately, no firefighters have come to the scene now. We have been watching and the fire is raging,” the Sudanese businessman who identified himself as Ibrahim told Nyamilepedia from Juba.
Another resident however said the fire was light and did not consume many shops downplaying the damages which may have been incurred by the businessmen.
