November 15th 2019 (Nyamilepedia) – The chairperson of South Sudan’s National Pre-Transitional Committee (NPTC) Tutkew Gatluak has asked members of political parties who are not part of peace implementation bodies to exit hotel accommodation provided by the NPTC.

Gatluak in a letter dated November 11th said the peace implementing body will not be responsible for accommodating and feeding of members of political parties who are not members of the peace implementation mechanisms.

“I am pleased to write this letter to your good office to instruct the leaders of the political parties to take care of their members who are not part of the R-ARCSS Mechanisms,” the letter signed by Gatluak said.

“As the NPTC implements the extension of 100 days, NPTC will no longer be responsible for their accommodation and feeding while staying in Juba. Therefore, the NPTC will only cater those who are members of mechanisms,” the letter added.

“I ask that you supervise this and ensure that we are in line with guidelines.”

President Salva Kiir was asked this week to take measures again incorrect use of NPTC funds.
